Irin Carmon, a CNN commentator and author of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg hagiography, Notorious RBG, spoke with CNN This Morning host Audie Cornish today regarding her pro-abortion rights book, Unbearable: Five Women and the Perils of Pregnancy in America.

At one point, Cornish did describe a pro-life position:

"Their argument is that both the unborn child and the person giving birth are equal. People that need to be protected. Right?"

Responded Carmon:

"In practice, it's very hard to make a 50/50 decision between one person who is able to actually speak to you, and one who is a potential person in practice. It does mean that the person ends up getting treated like a vessel."

By that logic, if the mother is a vessel, the unborn are detritus who can be thrown overboard at any point, for any reason.

Using that as a qualifer, that includes a lot more than just babies. But why stop there? How about we include thse who make no sense when they talk, or speak. We can include those who do not speak English, for the majority they are unable to speak understandably.

Perhaps we need to include those with whom we disagree with what they have to say. By the time we are done, there will be few remaining alive.
