DOJ Arrests Famous Leftist Journalist for Horrific Crimes against Children
American Tribune ^ | September 16, 2025 | Will Tanner

In yet another incident of a leftist being caught doing something unspeakable, Thomas LeGro, a Washington, D.C.-based journalist who has been working for the Washington Post since 2013, was caught by the Department of Justice and charged with various offenses having to do with unspeakably awful crimes toward children.

As background, describing his role in the organization on its website, the Washington Post said, “In 2018, Tom LeGro was part of a team of Post reporters who were awarded a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Senate candidacy of Roy Moore and a subsequent effort to discredit The Post’s reporting . . . Tom was promoted to executive producer in 2021, overseeing the Politics, National, International and Technology teams.”

In any case, the DOJ caught LeGro engaging in crimes against children in late June of this year, and dragged him to court nearly immediately so the prosecution against him for his horrific crimes could begin. The charge against LeGro was led by Judge Jeanine Pirro, the US Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Announcing the arrest and prosecution of LeGro in a press statement released on June 27, the DOJ began by saying, “Thomas Pham LeGro, 48, made his first appearance today in U.S. District Court for allegedly possessing child pornography. LeGro, a journalist at the Washington Post and resident of the District of Columbia, was arrested yesterday and taken into custody following a search of his home.”

Continuing, the statement noted that Judge Jeanine was involved with this case, saying, “The charges were announced by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro. Pirro thanks FBI Assistant Director in Charge Steven J. Jensen of the Washington Field Office, and Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department for their ongoing efforts in this investigation.”

Then, returning to details about what happened and how the DOJ caught LeGro, the statement revealed that his residence had been raided by FBI agents and the horrifying material was found on his work laptop, stating, “On June 26, 2025, FBI agents executed a search warrant at LeGro’s residence and seized several electronic devices. A review of LeGro’s work laptop revealed a folder that contained 11 videos depicting child sexual abuse material.”

Further, the statement indicated that it would appear that LeGro had more incriminating videos downloaded, but had destroyed the computer hard drive on which they were kept, as fractured pieces of the hard drive were found in his residence. It said, “During the execution of the search warrant agents observed what appeared to be fractured pieces of a hard drive in the hallway outside the room where LeGro’s work laptop was found.”

The complaint brought against LeGro added to that, noting that in addition to the fractured pieces of the hard drive being found in the basement hallway, an empty hard drive cover was found nearby and LeGro was arrested trying to leave the basement. Further, that complaint noted that his internet activity had been tracked since early May.

The Washington Post, for its part, responded to the case and accusations by noting that LeGro was placed on leave while the case against him proceeds and said it finds the allegations serious, writing, “The Post understands the severity of these allegations, and the employee has been placed on leave.”

Paul Ryan was such a gullible idiot he thought the 5 years olds dropped over the Wall were here to pick cherries.

I suspect Paul Ryan was compromised in some way. You do not do your opponents work at the height of your political career, then retire, for no reason.

Ever wonder what happened to the thousands of young boys and girls democrats ‘lost’? No record of where those midnight fights of young illegals were taken or dropped off. Paul Ryan was such a gullible idiot he thought the 5 years olds dropped over the Wall were here to pick cherries.

We are learning what happened to them. After they get too old for the pedos, they are shipped off to the worst child slave labor jobs imaginable by the cartels and people who trafficked them.

I remember when Obama was bringing these “unaccompanied minors” into the country, there were feel good gas lighting stories about how all the oh so compassionate LGBTQ+ was rushing down to the border to “adopt” and “rescue” these poor waifs.

Turns out they were mostly really going down to shop for child sex slaves.

And what kind of parent sends a 10 year old child alone to the US from central America.

research material for an upcoming expose

I bet he was planning to expose something ... to someone. Eeeewwwww ....

That said, make sure he gets competent legal counsel. Give him a fair trial. Make the State prove its case.

Then we can be sure we're hanging the right creature.

I thought we had good enough forensic tech to reassemble a hard drive unless is was utterly destlryed....like in a fire or something.

Im surprised all he needed to do was smash his hard drive when the warrant was served and then the FBI says “Welp....look like we missed that one”

He looks kind of like John Belushi in the movie Neighbors.

He and the team persecuted Judge Roy Moore... which resulted in them getting journalism awards and promotions. Maybe Judge Jeanine can send him on a one-way trip to Gallant Alabama along with a length of rope.

It was odd how Obama and Biden both thought in terms of passing those kids out to 'interested parties' rather than finding thier pareents and sending them home. I'm guessing lots of these children were kidnapped or pulled from orphanages.. Cartels knew they were being sold and so did the stupid press bimbos and pretentious 'men'.

And the owners of the Washington post wonder, in drunken denial, why most folks do not think anything so great about their industry’s patting their own folks on the back with things like a Pulitzer Prize.

“The dude looks the psycho serial killer played by Elijah Wood in Sin City.”

Or Elijah Wood in Toxic Avenger in which he potrays Fritz Garbinger, the deformed brother and henchman of the main villain, Bob Garbinger.
