ESCAPE FROM JUDGE FRIMPONG
Powerline ^ | 9 Sep 2025 | Scott Johnson

Posted on 09/09/2025 6:26:43 AM PDT by Rummyfan

I have written several posts on California Federal District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong’s temporary restraining order more or less preventing ICE from operating in California’s Central District — the district covering the seven counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. The counties’ population of nearly 20 million people is the largest of any federal judicial district in the country. I wrote about Judge Frimpong’s crimping of ICE in posts that are accessible here. It’s crazy, baby. That’s my view.

...

By a vote of 6-3, the Supreme Court order has stayed Judge Frimpong’s hand while the government’s appeal proceeds. The stay intimates the Court’s view of the merits of the case, but it is not a ruling on the merits. It is procedural and preliminary in nature.

In the linked Supreme Court order Justice Kavanaugh wrote a good concurring opinion fleshing out his view of the case. Justice Sotomayor dissented from the Court’s stay in a question-begging dissenting opinion joined by Justices Kagan and Jackson. The Court’s issuance of the stay suggests that it seeks to restore some kind of order to the havoc created by out-of-control federal district judges, but this is only one case among many and order has yet to be restored.

Right - the US judiciary roster should not read like a character list from the first Star Wars film bar scene.

I think that’s a great idea. And I can tell you from very recent experience of buying a second home, that’s screwing up your mortgage contract and accidentally saying it’s your primary residence versus a secondary or investment property is impossible. The bank makes it very sure that you appropriately label your mortgage. Then at closing your attorney does the exact same thing.

These people on the hook now for mortgage fraud, like Adam Schiff, Letitia, James, and that idiot from the fed, they all knowingly committed fraud. I’m absolutely certain.

Federal District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong
Frimpong is one of a cadre of foreigners - judges or lawyers in their home countries - imported by Democrats, naturalized and confirmed to federal benches in the last few years.

We should investigate this angle and report to Conservative politicians & journalists, asking they push back by examining and publicizing every "decision" these rogue judges make.

As well, ask them to petition the Supreme Court in what ever way possible to demand the Justices return some sanity to the federal courts.

I am bringing up this issue on X in a recurring manner.

She is an African anchor baby born to illegal alien parents from Ghana.

Anchor babies were NEVER meant to get automatic citizenship until the Rats started bastardizing the verbiage of the 14th amendment, which was enacted during Reconstruction to secure rights for formerly enslaved people, establishing that all persons born in the United States are citizens. This did NOT apply to illegal aliens!

Frimpong should be deported, period.

Exactly, this needs to be overturned with no grandfathering.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. Works out to be about the same difference.

Whether imported or born to radical foreigners, their intent, imo, is to install rule by judicial fiat, same as in any country run by strongman tactics.

If you look at the original intent of the 14th Amendment, it was to prevent states from denying the citizenship of the freed slaves under one context or another. The Southern states were finding rationales for depriving the former slaves of citizenship because they or their parents had been enslaved. The intent of the amendment had nothing to do with immigrants or their children. However, there were almost no bars on immigration at the time the amendment was passed. Later on, restrictions were imposed, first on East Asian immigrants and later on people not of Western or Northern European descent. From 1924 to 1965, the United States had generally good control over its borders. While some Mexicans, West Indians, and Canadians may have entered illegally, the numbers were relatively small and they tended to blend in, the Mexicans in the Southwest, the West Indians in the New York City area, and the Canadians along the northern tier from Maine to Washington State.

After 1965, the Federal government did not effectively control the border and millions of illegals entered the country. That trend accelerated under Biden, who told illegals to rush the border. The issue of anchor babies was nonexistent in 1870 but it is a severe issue now. I hope the Supreme Court will look at original intent when reviewing birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment.

In charge of overseeing American Law.

U.S. District Judge Maame E. Frimpong in Los Angeles had found a “mountain of evidence” that enforcement tactics were violating the Constitution.

Standing up for the best interests of Americans.
