One of the most striking things about the Biden years was the proliferation of...idiosyncratic..."public servants" and, in particular, how obviously their presence was shoved in our face.
We went from being asked to tolerate "idiosyncracies" when they were expressed in private life (which seems fair) to embracing the authority of "experts" who clearly hate us.
There are lots of examples, but the two which have popped up in the news due to their finally departing government are Rachel Levine and Demetre C. Daskalakis MD MPH (he/his/him). Levine was booted, Daskalakis resigned, and walked out the door. Levine, who was presented as one of the government's top health officials (she's an Admiral!) was a transgender activist who pushed all-ages "gender affirming care," and Daskalakis was in charge of vaccines and Biden's Monkeypox czar.

I unfortunately married and divorced a liberal and I have come to understand how they think. It’s all about self-centeredness. “Look at me! I’m so special!”, or “I’m a good person because I support the fashionable cause!”. They constantly worry about what other people are thinking about them. They like to think of themselves as perfect and sneer at those who think differently. Conservatives don’t obsess about what others think of us. We understand that we are all imperfect. We care about what works in the real world. This explains why we seem to live in different universes.
They also blame external boogie men for every personal dissatisfaction
Self reflection
Responsibility for mistakes not common
Instead it’s something outside themselves
Which is why they are victims and women succumb to it’s lure more than men
Been watching C span since 1979 & knew Democrat had a profound belief sut in concrete that Americans were too stupid to complete toilet training without a government minder.
