Pelosi is in her 80s and she’ll probably be dead in five years. Maga voters want serious cuts in government, no new wars, low interest rates, rolling back environmental laws, and the trans and LGBT crap everywhere. He needs to focus on his main job. He also still waiting on all the Epstein material and the JFK files.

Does Hawley think some "congressional review" will go no where and just wants to be a legislator and create legislation to simply ban the practice? How odd. Not that I think it would pass since most of them are getting rich via investing but it is the proper way. Now if they want to do a review of all 535 of them, go for it. Focusing on just Pelosi makes it seem personal and petty, no matter how much she deserves it.

Hawley introduced the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments Act - cleverly titled the PELOSI Act.
It basically prevents anyone in congress - or the executive branch - from trafficking in Securities. You want to say it’s *too* heavy-handed? Maybe - I don’t agree, but putting some teeth in “blind trusts” is fine by me.
The WH has been lobbying against this bill and now they’re going after Hawley - a consistent, proven conservative - because he actually introduced a good government bill that stops the gravy train with a *hard stop*?
