Following US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, Russian official Dmitry Medvedev hinted that countries like Russia or North Korea might supply Iran with nuclear warheads directly. This threat should be met with a firm US response based on strategic brinksmanship.
If Russia or its allies provide nuclear weapons to Iran, a state that has serially violated the Non-Proliferation Treaty, President Trump should make it clear that the United States will, in turn, provide nuclear weapons or station intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Russia’s own neighboring countries, such as Ukraine, Poland, or Kazakhstan, to re-establish deterrence.

Regime change is the only way. Israel showed some creative ways this could be sparked today with its tactical bombings in Tehran.
“Would Russia really do it?”
Directly? No need. They would let the coolies do it aka their chained pitbull wannabe.
Israel to the west and Pakistan to the east already have nuclear weapons so...
But I perceive Iran as a second front of the Ukraine War Putin will calculate carefully but resist regime change in Iran.
A new gov’t creating unfriendliness to Russia on its southern flank.
Trump hoping to provoke Iran to attack Americans so he can finish off the current regime.
“Would Russia really do it?”
Never. The mullahs hate the Russians almost as much as they hate us. They’d be just as likely to use one on Moscow. Putin has been slaughtering islamist savages for over a decade.
So have the ChiComs.

Russia is spewing garbage. Vlad wouldn’t give those towel head/goat humpers a nuke. North Korea on the other hand...
The Pakis will sell them nukes and maybe NORK’S. Trump’s job as i saw it was to keep these guys out of it. Well he chose another route.
Any planes or ships carrying missles are targets.
“The Pakis will sell them nukes and maybe NORK’S.”
And you know this how? Logic would reveal that if they could or would they would have already done so. Much easier for Iran to buy nukes on the sly than spend decades trying to make them out in the open, as it were.
Study up on the Cuban missile crisis.
Russia China NORKS won’t do this because theycan never trust the host country. They would position them and maintain complete control. Just like we did with nukes in Germany. Because if they give nukes to Iran and Iran uses them then they too would be placed in our bomb sights. There would be no choice. We could not let Russia threaten us via a proxy they armed.
That said. It seems inevitable that nukes will spread. I’m sure India would like a few to offset Pakistan. The western world lives under our very shaky umbrella except for UK and France.
That said, never in the history of warfare has a weapon not matter how terrible not been used.
Any such warhead would be labeled Smirnoff, made of glass, and be empty.
I would worry about the Norks first. The Pakis don’t like the Iranians much; the whole Sunni-vs-Shia thing.
“I’m sure India would like a few to offset Pakistan.”
India already has nuclear weapons.
The forever war tools just wont give it a rest. The pay is too good to quit.
What a surprise!
This is simply idiotic. There is no such thing as "deterrence" to suicidal maniacs like the mullahs.
This is stupid talk, It's also why forcing Russia into a proxy war was the most stupid geopolitical blunder that this nation has even made. Elections results have consequences, while stolen election results have serious consequences.
It’s clear to me that most every civilized nation is fearful of what will happen should Iran develop a nuclear weapon ... they’ll use it and screw the consequences of doing so.
Yeah. My bad.
no they wouldn’t be so dumb..
bigger issue is that IAEA is reporting that enriched fuel was removed.
IDF and the US had to be aware of that.
IDF claims to know where it is..
I hope they can deal with it!
