Democrats left a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday after delivering their opening statements, refusing to participate in an inquiry into whether their party helped conceal President Biden’s cognitive decline.
Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Peter Welch (D-VT) attended the opening statements of Wednesday morning’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on President Biden’s cognitive fitness. Durbin walked out shortly after delivering remarks, during which he played a video montage attempting to portray former President Donald Trump as mentally unfit. He had already dismissed the hearing, stating, “It a waste of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s time.”
Senator Welch echoed those concerns, saying:
What we’re doing right now won’t help. It will not help. And I ask myself why in the world are we doing it. But we know the answer to that. Because the politics that has been embraced in this Congress is the politics of accusation, of demeaning adversaries, of deflecting from engaging in the hard discussion about hard issues and trying to come to some common agreement that’s going to be to the mutual benefit of all of the people that we represent.
He then left the hearing room.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) asserted, “I will note that few of my Democratic colleagues are here today—thank you to Senator Welch from Vermont for being here—leaving us with no other option than to take the boycotting of this hearing as an admission of guilt for their role in this crisis.”

Well I agree that no good will come out of any inquiry or investigation. It’s done. We all (America) know that his decline was covered up , hidden, and lied about.
No one will ever uncover the truth, so maybe we shouldn’t waste any more time on it.

I think the real point is that the Democrats have lied and covered up for so many things. Biden’s mental decline. Hunter’s laptop. The Russia hoax. People need to understand how dishonest and ruthless the Democrats are. And THEN have a discussion about how Joe Biden got 81 million votes in 2020.

Everyone talks about Biden’s cognitive decline like no one knew from the start he had pudding for brains, not only did they know it, they BANKED ON IT..that was the whole reason why they chose Biden to begin with to be their nominee..they wanted someone they could completely control and they did, opened the border wide open for what, 40 million illegals, the far left woke agenda took control of every business in America, the left got what they wanted, and its virtually impossible to get rid of 40 million illegals and that was the whole point

Unfortunately, this is like trying to play Monopoly with my brother, who after having trouble winning by the rules, got in the habit of cheating, and tried more often with time, even after being caught.
There was no one to police him, so the choice was to keep playing the game pointlessly, knowing he was going to cheat at any time... or just not to play the game with him at all.
Eventually, you realize that the game doesn’t work unless all sides not only agree to abide but actually willingly abide by a mutually respected set of ruled because they want to keep enjoying the game and have a good time as loving brothers and sisters.
There was no way to force him to play honestly, only the hope that he would see the value of the game, the joy of being able to play any time, anywhere, is much greater than the temporary thrill of defeating a brother or sister... or never being able to play again.
That is what the left has done to the Constitution. They have chosen the one time thrill of crushing their brothers and sisters over the love of living harmoniously within the Contitutional boundaries.
Funny thing is, he never cheated when Dad was playing.
Subpoena them to testify under oath as they are likely involved in the illegal cover-up (and other crimes). Most are criminal sociopaths.
