Remember this story out of Omaha where the feds used E-verify to track down more than 100 illegal aliens using fake IDs? And that those illegals allegedly pulled box cutters on ICE agents?
===============================================================
ICE uses E-Verify system to nab over 100 illegal aliens at Omaha meat packer 🤔 E-Verify was meant to screen out illegals from taking American jobs, but ICE's recent raid on Glenn Valley Foods in Omaha, Nebraska, shows it doesn't really work.

We were told this city would be in turmoil. The plant wouldn't know what to do without their illegal workforce. There would no recovery from this.
Anyways, cut to a few days later:
But ... but ... I was told that companies like this were forced to hire illegal labor because these are jobs that Americans won't do! Turns out, these are jobs that Americans and LEGAL immigrants WOULD be doing, if it weren't for illegal aliens taking all the jobs and driving down wages.
It's almost like the entire point of our effectively open borders has been to drive Americans out of jobs that illegal immigrants will do for half the price.
But, hey, at least the price of beef has gone down since then, right?
Right?
More from that NBC News link above:
News of the ICE raid this week sent a crippling, chilling effect across the city. The local library and community college closed early on Tuesday. Construction sites and other workplaces have been desolate. South Omaha's business district, known as a vibrant Hispanic and immigrant enclave, shut down immediately after the raid. As of Friday, some had reopened.
Yes, and then by Thursday, Americans hearing of the new jobs at the packer showed up to fill them. A real "chilling" story for Omaha, Nebraska.
Working and paying taxes are irrelevant. They are here illegally and should be deported. If they have been here years, why have they not legally become citizens?
Same thing in construction...
No get them all out. Stop this worst of the worst crap. All must go...
Yes but the unions screwed that up and that is how we got here.

My brother worked for a meat packer in the 1970s. He earned $22/hr while I was earning $2.50 in a factory job. The minimum wage was around $2/hr.
Utterly ridiculous!
Because big business has been gutting American like a fish for years. They have got away from it so long even many here on FR want long term Mexicans to get to stay.
Rush said only Trump can take down Trump. Well he’s doing it. what a dumb move.
Yes it did. The way they ran the business was disgusting back then.
Gee... Whodda thunk it?...
So, if you entered the country illegally then if you pay taxes, it is okay. Road Apples, they did not enter the correct way, so they most go!
You give up on President Trump too easily.
“Doing the jobs that Americans won’t do ...”
To me that simply means that taxpayer assistance (welfare, EBT, etc) is far too abundant and needs to be curtailed to the point that only the really needy are recipients. When the able-bodied get hungry enough they will seek jobs.
Meanwhile, we have anti-American shitbirds ON THIS VERY FORUM maintaining that Americans don’t want to work, can’t work, are too damn lazy and stupid to work, and we NEED the precious illegal aliens to survive.
Negative! If they’re here illegally, and don’t very quickly deport themselves ... round ‘em up and kick ‘em out. Actual citizens, who can actually vote, will be glad to see them go.
It was not a race thing because they would go after a legal Hispanic as fast as they would an American born.
I got the impression that a lot of the guys were giving their "boss illegal" part of their paycheck as protection money.
If they are illegal they should be gone. It doesn’t matter where they are located.
