HBO host Bill Maher talked to Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) and Jake Tapper on Friday's "Real Time" about left-wing extremism on college campuses.
"There is this idea on campuses. It's not just the Israeli thing," Maher said about radicalism on the campus. It's that all of Western civilization is suspect."
"And, you know, I'm not saying Trump is a guy reading historians every night, but to the average person, he seems to get the idea, Western civilization good, that a lot of these kids don't," Maher added.
BILL MAHER: What is odd to me that there would be so much antisemitism at the place that is the premier educational facility in the United States. I mean, education was kind of the Jews thing.
REP. SETH MOULTON (D-MA): It's, it's odd. It's odd and it's wrong. And it's wrong.
And we need to confront that problem. That's not what Trump is doing.
BILL MAHER: No, he's doing both. I'm sorry, but there's there's parts of this. They did.
He demanded that they do a kind of audit. And they did. And it's kind of bleak.
Jewish students felt ostracized. They were harassed online, felt they were unsupported by the university in both rhetoric and actions. Stuff that would never would have been tolerated if this was going on against people of color instead of Jewish kids.
REP. SETH MOULTON (D-MA): But just to be clear, Trump demanded that audit after Harvard already started it itself. So Harvard, for right or wrong, and there's a lot of wrong there. They are trying to take on this issue.
They are taking it seriously. A lot of places would not do that kind of self-examination. And they have a roadmap.

Boy have things become convoluted. Western Liberalism does not posit that civilization is good. It posits that the purpose of government is the good of its citizens. Our own constitution says so in the preamble. And we have another document that says what happens when the citizens believe that its government is not acting for the good of the people.
College students are taught to believe what they’re told, period. Otherwise known as learning from instruction, while ignoring their experience and intuition.
Fascinating topic. I was just now discussing it on another thread.
Maher is getting closer to being “red pilled.”
Colleges are nests of hate filled lying filth.
Because they have been lied to by people you Bill
Correction— While College Students have been gaslighted by communist teachers to believe that it is suspect
Not really, he's always been a both side guy, but he does it strictly for ratings.
In his heart, he is an ex-Catholic that hates religion and God, is a greedy kalifornikator that will always stay with the "Oscar" crowd.
Much like Harold Ford Jr., he talks out of both sides of his mouth, trying to be perceived as "fair" and I don't trust either one of them.
If I had to pick one of the two I'd take Maher because I believe that Ford is trying to sneak in the back door to be President, while Maher just wants to get high and get laid.
Seth Moulton (D-uMAss)...
There, fixed it.

The only reason they are all in college together is western civilization. Criticizing the very same system that promoted educating everyone, and opening up higher education to people who in the past didnt have that option.
Other than hating Jews, whites, men, Christians, America, cops, and the military, Dims are very tolerant of everyone.
Yes, since they were infiltrated over the previous century by the marxists/socialists/leninists collectively AKA as commies. Educators a century ago warned the commies shouldn’t be allowed into the education system. Too many people didn’t listen.
Students apparently much prefer Arab muslim or Chinese or African civilizations to Western.
College students find everything suspect it’s called ignorance.
Jesse Watters on Fox program has Johnny do interviews with them proves just how ignorant they are about anything.
“Hey Hey Ho Ho Western Civ has got to go!”
Day by day, Bill Maher is getting red-pilled. He has a long way to go, but it’s a start.
