Thank you very much and God bless you.
She should have left it alone to wander in the residential area.
Female cop is also animal control....
Dumb birds flock together?
“She should have left it alone to wander in the residential area.”
Exactly. Waste of tax dollars...

She just HAD to catch the Jailbird that few the coup...
Italian-American
Giunea are one of the most stupid birds ever.
I am surprised that they are not extinct.
Birds can easily fly away.
Even wild turkeys....
Dumb-asses. I still remember getting a quarter, back in the ‘60s, for catching the Guinea Fowl nobody could catch. Corn in a cage, rope tied to cage lid...easy-peasy.
These two cops really are stupid. Did they think the bird would not run or fly away when they started to chase it? It’s basic instinct for untrained animals. Flee when hunted. As you said, use smarts - trap it with food.
We GD guineas really make you laugh!
Now, that’s seven-a fifty for the calzone!

Yep, good watch critters though... And they don’t taste bad...

Someone could lose an eye saying something like that.

Yep, EMUs are the worst about this, unless you train them from young they cannot be “herded” like sheep or cows. It is part of their natural instinct to run right back at the attacker and then at the last minute dodge to one side or the other and run right by it forcing it to turn around to pursue. The only way to get them to go towards the direction you want you have to actually push them the opposite direction from what you want.
Once had one get out and had a couple real cowboys try to help me gather them up. I never laughed so hard in my life... lol
Finally told them to just leave him alone. He was back trying to get back in the pen for water the next morning... :)
Had that been a human male it would have e been shot in seconds.
Why are they bothering?
Obviously escaped from someone's pen.
She had it cornered against two walls in one of the shots on the video. But she had no net to toss over it so it just ran right past her leg. If she had a net maybe she could have nabbed it. But when what? I mean, if she did catch it what was she going to do? Make soup?
Send my wife over with her 12 gauge. Problem solved.
I used to catch sparrows by feeding the hens in their coop. Sparrows knew there was a crack on one side of the window mesh. They’d slip in, and when I jumped them, they’d fly to the window mesh. Just pick them off of it.
