Fannie Mae Fires Over 100 Federal Agency Employees for Facilitating Housing Loan Fraud

This is an excellent example of what Attorney General Pam Bondi should be focused on instead of her appearances on Fox News.

The Federal Housing and Finance Agency has released a public statement highlighting an internal review and investigation of conduct within Fannie Mae that has resulted in the termination of over 100 employees for “unethical conduct” including the “facilitation of fraud.”

If the FHMA is finding intentional fraud within the housing loan offices, those federal employees should be arrested and legally prosecuted for their conduct. It is not enough to just fire people, there has to be legal accountability. These are the government regulators for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Washington, D.C. — Today, the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency (U.S. Federal Housing FHFA) and Fannie Mae issued the following statement:

“In President Trump’s housing market, there is no room for fraud, mortgage fraud, or any other deceitful act that can jeopardize the safety and soundness of the housing industry,” said William J. Pulte, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fannie Mae. “Since my swearing-in, we fired over 100 employees from Fannie Mae who we caught engaging in unethical conduct, including facilitating fraud, against our great company. Anyone who commits fraud against Fannie Mae does so against the American people.”

“I would like to thank Director Pulte for his empowering of Fannie Mae to root out unethical conduct, including anyone facilitating fraud. We hold our employees to the highest standards, and we will continue to do so,” said Priscilla Almodovar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fannie Mae. [SOURCE]

I would agree...

...and using this same theory, just imagine what would happen if some, just a few, people in various areas if the biggest fraud were to be indicted. just think of how many Fannie Maes would pop up like a Whack-a-Mole game!!!

This is an excellent example of what Attorney General Pam Bondi should be focused on instead of her appearances on Fox News.

It kind of does look like she is focused on fighting fraud.

The fraud has been discovered, the fraud has bee investigated and the people who are responsible have been fired from their government jobs

The next steps will be prosecutions of those responsible.

This type of operation requires a lot of investigative work.

You generally keep the investigations of criminal conspiracies secret while you are investigating.

Anyone who does not recognize the fact that ALL of the Trump Cabinet members are spending a lot of time in the media communicating and leading the Trump Agenda to tout the Trump Administration successes and shape public opinion has not been watching.

The DOJ is a major player in all of the Trump policy initiatives and Bondi is doing an outstanding job.

She is doing her her job exactly the way she should be.

I don't get the dislike for Bondi.

I get the impression that she is working hard to clean up an overwhelming amount of criminality and corruption in Washington in a very short amount of time.

She is dealing with white collar criminals and public corruption in the heart of the Washington corruption system. While a lot of this criminal activity may be simple in nature , a lot of it involves very smart white collar criminals executing very cleverly planned schemes

. These types of investigations are very complicated and take a lot of time to properly develop.

As far as indictments and arrests, her public DOJ presence in publicly announcing prosecutions comes at the end of a lengthy process of uncovering the existence of the crime, investigating the crime, collecting evidence of the crime, working up the chain of criminal RICO conspiracies to get the ringleaders, obtaining indictments and then finally making arrests.

She is cleaning up the FBI

She is supporting Trump's border and deportation programs

She is shutting down the Democrat law fare machine.

She is aggressively going after the Democrat vote fraud and campaign finance fraud machine

She is dealing with the rebellion of government workers hostile to Trump and the MAGA agenda and with the legalities of massive reductions in the government workforce as well as the lawsuits filed to stop them.

She is supporting the massive Trump Executive Orders Programs with official legal positions and drafting assistance.

And that's just what we know about.

Bondi has been in office less than three months and a stunning amount of things have been accomplished. I don't know what more can be expected of her.

At heart, the DOJ is the presidents law firm as well as it's law enforcement arm and the Trump administration has been pushing the legal system like very few presidents in history.

The only member of the Trump Cabinet who may be taking the media angle a bit too far and to the point of media grandstanding is DHS Sec Kristi Noem but she is getting a lot of wins in a lot of places so she deserves it,

“The Roman Empire, once a symbol of power and civilization, was profoundly affected by political corruption. “

Gee, do you see any similarities between today’s US Government and the late Roman Empire?

I’d wager that it started in Social Security. Decades ago, a local guy needed some cheap labor. His BIL, at SS, hooked him up with a couple of illegals.

The day Obamacare started , there was an Hispanic woman, nicely dressed, manning the copy machine at the grocery store. There was a parade of little bean-people coming in for copies of ???? Wouldn’t want records of that on gubmint copiers, would we?

Agreed.

It all begins with acknowledging the problem, as DOGE has so inconveniently - ahem - forced.

Now it’s up to others in the administration, who - ahem - haven’t yet lived up to the hype, to actually act on the evidence and assign investigators.

I fully expect such an investigation to take many months, but it would be comforting at least to see an announcement of such an investigation (which would also help with self-deportations).

I’d like to think there’s considerable activity beneath the surface. Springing it on the guilty around primary season would be good.

It all comes down to ‘hope’…

…and my other hand has already runneth over on another matter.

They have no excuse to not publicize what they are doing, especially due to the fact that such publicity directly benefits their stated policy preference of self deportation.
