One of the more unintentionally amusing things we've seen from leftists since President Trump's inauguration have been the announcements about how they are getting rid of their Tesla vehicles in protest of the company's CEO, Elon Musk, and his senior advisory role with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Among the virtue-signalers has been singer/entertainer Sheryl Crow, who made a big show of waving goodbye to her Tesla in a video shared to Instagram back in February.
"My parents always said... you are who you hang out with. There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with," she wrote at the time. "So long Tesla. Money donated to NPR, which is under threat by President Musk, in hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth."

Another one was Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) who, in a video shared to his social media accounts in mid-March, declared that he wouldn't be a Tesla owner anymore because he could no longer stand to be associated with a person who he said was “slashing/cutting” a lot of programs and who he claimed “turned out to be an a*****e.”
What was most notable, however, about Kelly ditching his Tesla was what he purchased to replace it. It wasn't another electric vehicle. It was a gas-guzzling Chevy Tahoe:
Mark Kelly spent at least $71,000 to ditch his Tesla Model S Performance - which he previously bragged had "zero emissions" - for an SUV which gets 17 miles to the gallon.

While conservatives were quick to point out Kelly's double standards, no one in the mainstream media saw fit to ask him why he bought a vehicle that goes against just about everything climate change activists stand for in place of one that they (and he) previously applauded before the Musk Derangement Syndrome stuff started.
But on Friday, a video was shared to the Twitter/X machine showing Kelly finally being asked about the inconsistency.
Here's how the conversation went down:
Reporter: "Speaking of Musk, since you got rid of your car, what do you say to people who say, 'Why didn't he get another EV to fight climate change?' What made you decide --"
Kelly: "Well, I have the same car in Arizona. Same car; I really like it. It's union-made. It's a great car. I drive about 2,000 miles a year here in Washington, DC, and I really like Chevys. I've had really good luck with them. And the one I just got, by the way, the way everything works - a lot better than the Tesla. I like the performance of the Tesla, some of the stuff inside - bad ergonomics."
Reporter: "Did you like the no emissions on the Tesla, though, being electric?"
Kelly: (Reluctantly) "Yeah, yeah. You know, I--"
Reporter: "'Cause the truck doesn't get very good miles per gallon."
Kelly: "I bought the Tesla for its performance. That thing was really fast. Um, but there were also things I didn't like about it. And I couldn't drive it anymore. I mean, the guy's calling me names. You saw that."
Reporter: "I did see that. Thanks, Senator."

So Kelly went from praising no emissions on the Tesla in the past to now claiming it didn't really matter, it was about how fast it was and the "performance."
Further, he pretty much point-blank admitted that he got rid of it not because of DOGE or the actions Musk has taken since its creation but because his feelings were hurt after Musk called him a "traitor" in response to a thread Kelly wrote last month amid the fallout from the Trump-Zelensky meeting.
In it, Kelly bashed President Trump’s Ukraine-Russia ceasefire negotiations, implicitly suggesting in the same series of tweets that Trump putting conditions on Ukraine for support instead of writing a blank check was like abandoning an ally in their time of need.
The timing makes sense, considering that DOGE did its thing for a full two months before Kelly made his decision, which came three or four days after their heated Twitter/X exchange about Ukraine.
In a nutshell, according to Kelly, everybody else should buy EVs and do whatever they can to fight so-called climate change. But he gets a pass for his two-faced nature on this issue because he filed a Hurt Feelings Report on Elon Musk over a mean tweet? What an absolute fraud.
To each his own when it comes to vehicles, but how stupid can one be to champion waste, fraud, abuse, and more?
Destroying our climate!
They are such followers. Once second something is good, then it’s bad.
Kelly; Eff climate change, I mean, the guy's calling me names.
Yet another phony poser.
From what I know about John DeLorean (father of the Pontiac GTO) he was an arrogant jerk. I have no plans of getting rid of my 67 GTO because I might not like the guy.
We can all agree EVs are really bad cars.
Kelly is a gigantic, corrupt pussy.
Chevy makes at least 3 EV’s that I know of.

Kelly has to be the most boring person in DC. The only reason he got elected is because of the sympathy vote after his wife got shot by that liberal idiot.
I checked his background. He’s not as smart as people are led to believe. Being an astronaut in the 1960s required so much more than it did in the 1990s and 2000s. It has become so woke over the years.
People who lack conviction rooted in deeper truths have no business holding public office. We need to vet these people seriously before their name even gets on a ballot.
I couldn’t agree more.
Whoever now owns Sheryl's Tesla probably doesn't know that she only uses one sheet of toilet paper to wipe herself.
She announced that was how she rolled years ago so the inside of that vehicle must be terribly "nasally challenged" for sure by now.
Ewwwwwww!
Today I saw a sticker on the Tesla ahead of me in traffic:
Anti Elon Tesla Club.
Does everybody else already know about these and see them everywhere?

LOL! Now that is funny!
Not an uncommon sight in Northern California. The same people put virtue-signaling signs in their front yards.
Who killed the Climate Agenda? Why, Mark Kelly did that. He admits it’s nothing for him to worry about. It was all a money grab hoax with the benefit of big government control.
Mark Kelly has smaller balls that Camel Hairs.
Almost as ironic as the person who said that Elon Musk was a NAZI so he sold his Tesla and purchased it BMW.
