Pete Hegseth’s ink is making quite a stink.
The heavily tattooed secretary of defense was photographed Tuesday working out with Navy SEALs in Hawaii, with the images shared on X.
“Kicked off the day alongside the warriors of SDVT-1 at @JointBasePHH. These SEALs are the tip of the spear, masters of stealth, endurance, and lethality. America’s enemies fear them—our allies trust them. Proud to spend time with America’s best,” Hegseth wrote.
Then came a closer inspection from Scott Adams, who posted his research on X.
“Interesting: Hegseth now bears a bold new tattoo—’Kafir,’ the Arabic word for infidel, inked on his arm. The term is commonly used by Islamist extremists to label non-believers, and Hegseth’s tattoo sends a clear message of defiance,” he wrote.

A tattoo is an irremovable Post-it note.
I want to get tattoos on my eyes so everything always looks great.

I’m not a fan of Hegseth but its clear he connects with service members on a level previous DefSecs never did.
Its also clear the defense establishment would like to see him gone, which is another point in his favor.
Only one thing worse that a man with tatoos. A tatooed, and formerly beautiful woman.

See the difference?
For some reason I cannot imagine George Marshall or Curtis LeMay with tats like that.
We used to have Giants in charge. Now we have…this.
Good job Red. I spent 3 years in the 82nd, but decided to become an “intelligence professional” for DoD. One of the prerequisites for joining that unit was “no tattoos”. I had a couple of Marines in my “intelligence class”, but I can’t really say anything positive or negative about them since that was 1986.
When did you serve?

I don’t care if people have tattoos or not.
The character of the person wearing them is what matters.
