In what has become a horror show for the British army, the force is even more hollowed out than once thought. The Brits may only have 20 to 25 main battle tanks that they could count on should there be an overseas deployment.
The Royal Armored Corps is supposed to have 59 Challenger 2 tanks, but there haven’t been that many in years.
The problem started in the 1990s and got worse due to parts shortages, defense contractors going bankrupt, and maintenance and repair worker shortages.

They effectively have a HANDFUL of tanks.
Maybe they are worried about Russia rolling over them.
The way Western Europe has virtually eliminated its militaries, without our help, they should worry about Thailand rolling over them :)

Britain has much bigger problems than the amount of tanks they don’t have.

Ive said many times - NATO and the USA are bodyguards for the WEF, Neo-Marxist, anti-Christian takeover and destruction of the West.

Years ago I was privileged to spend two months in the UK and enjoyed every minute of my visits.
Today I wouldn’t even want a 30-minute layover at Gatwick.
The bigger problem is that their army is about 75,000 personnel in total. This means they have roughly 9,000 combat troops.
So how many are they willing to sacrifice in this insanity?
In the largest sense, Europe has the ultimate defense.
It’s very much similar to lawsuit targets who have no assets.
Why sue them?
Europe has nothing anyone would want. No oil and gas outside Norway, whose North Sea deposits are dying (as are those off Scotland).
Now you may find someone who desperately wants Muslim refugees who rape local women. But that’s not a likely justification for invasion.
Hitler went east, looking for Romania’s oil and Russia’s oil. He went west somewhat in self defense — but in the 1930s the All Important nature of oil was not yet clear.

The British armed forces and those of France and Germany combines would not stand up to what the Ukrainians have taken in the last three years. Even with the depletion the Russians have suffered in their war against Ukraine, only the Polish Army stands between Russia and the English Channel if America leaves NATO. In fact, with the Royal Navy in similar straits as the British Army, the Russians would sail and march to the Atlantic coast of Ireland. Putin or his successor would succeed where Philip II, Napoleon, and Hitler failed.
They used to have the biggest navy and now they basically don’t have one.
