A woman special agent trainee on Wednesday shot herself in the leg at the Secret Service's Rowley Training Center and was airlifted to a Baltimore hospital emergency room, according to multiple sources in the Secret Service community.

The incident occurred amid deep concerns that the Secret Service's DEI policies contributed to the failures on J13 and created an opening for Thomas Crooks to assassinate Trump and kill rallygoer Corey Comperatore.
