On CNN's Sciutto-Stacked Panel, Dem Predicts Midterm Wins, Ignores Unpopularity in Polls

When Kasie's away, Sciutto will play . . .

We wouldn't call CNN This Morning host Kasie Hunt fair 'n balanced. She certainly leans to port. But at least when it comes to assembling her panels, Hunt has sought some viewpoint balance.

Hunt consistently has one bona fide Republican on her panel, typically Brad Todd or Matt Gorman. Neither is a fire-breathing advocate in the mold of Scott Jennings, but neither are they the CNN equivalent of "MSNBC Republicans." The two generally make the case for Trump, and for Republicans in general.

But with Hunt away this week [and in line to be replaced by Audie Cornish], hard-core lefty Jim Sciutto has been hosting the show. His pernicious influence was apparent in the composition of today's panel, which consisted of Isaac Dovere, Meghan Hays, and Joe Walsh.

Sciutto introduced Walsh as a "former Republican Representative for Illinois."

Unsuspecting viewers would think that Walsh was the Republican on the panel. In fact, Walsh is an ardent Trump antagonist who in 2020 said he'd support any Dem running against Trump. He endorsed Biden in 2020, again in 2024, and Kamala Harris when she replaced Biden on the ticket.

Dems can’t win when they are taking the 20% side in 80/20 issues.

Walsh is the lowest of the low: along with Sciutto, who deceived naïve viewers into believing Walsh is a Republican.

If they were that unpopular they would not be within 4 or 5 seats in the House.

They WILL win the House in the midterms unless the GOPe Swamp Filth in heavily red states, that happen to have a few blue seats, get those seats redistricted.

To do that, Swamp filth GOP seat holders winning by 20% have to accept moving boundaries to lose 10% of that lead and have it placed in the blue districts. To date, they just call their good ole boys buddies in the legislature, also protecting their own seats, to ensure they lose nothing in the boundaries and retain their 20% lead.

This is how California got previous red seats. Not by slow counting. By redistricting. We will not stop this until we redistrict in red states and so far the RNC is not demanding it.

Good, I want them in the fight, because then we will not get complacent. Everyone needs to take this midterm election extremely serious, because we cannot afford to have Trump's 2nd term destroyed like the first. In fact, we need to enlarge margins in both Houses of Congress. Then we can make Trump's agenda into laws.

So, this is nothing to overlook at all. For they are masters of theft, and we need to catch them in the act, and put them away for years.

Normally the President in power loses seats in a midterm. However that is old politics of slight changes in the status quo. Everything since Jan 20 2025 is a brand new world for US Politics that has not been seen since FDR in 1932.

There is a wild card right now which is impossible to quantify since it has never happened before.

Almost every pro Democrat group in every state has been directly or indirectly funded by federal funds.

One of their jobs has been to turn out the vote for mid term Congressional elections.

We do not know how severely they will be crippled by loss of those funds—but I think it will be significant—perhaps beyond anyone’s expectations.

Dems are already in trouble of losing more Senate seats in 2026. Sen. Smith of MN today made a surprise announcement to say she is not running for re-election next year.

I think we can expect more to not run, as Dems have lost their money laundering machine and do not want to work hard to raise money or play on a level field.

DOGE is scheduled to expire in mid 2026, so the final reports can come out in time for the midterms. Hopefully we’ll see the democrats lose 50 seats in the house and 10 in the senate.

With what the Trump administration sin doing, his popularity is only going to soar.

And now that conservative republicans know that someone has got their back for Senate and House runs, I expect to see even better midterm results.
