Medicare last year paid thousands - yes thousands - ON MY MEDICARE NUMBER, for health care that did not go to me at all, through a medical outfit not even in my state. They did not catch it. I did - as I review all the Medicare statements I get.
I notified Medicare of the fraud by phone. Two hours of discussion led them to make it a formal fraud investigation. They said the investigation could take two years. It is possible I could get a reward IF THEY RECOVER ANY OF THE MONEY.
On the medicaid front....you know, lots of medicare payments g to local (county, etc) efforts to give healthcare assistance to the poor/indigent. In my county, our local board has made proof of citizenship required to receive aid from this county organization (which in turn receives some medicaid funding, as well as local tax dollars).
Another EO could be that Trump could say no medicaid payments to any local governmental body unless they have a policy and effective practice to ensure that no aid goes to illegals.....just a thought. If y’all know anyone who can get that into the idea/EO queue, would be great.
