Chuck Todd, the notoriously biased former host of “Meet the Press,” has finally been shown the door, marking a significant moment in mainstream media.
Todd, who has been a figure of controversy and criticism, particularly from conservative viewers, for his overtly biased reporting, announced his departure from the network to pursue independent projects, including his podcast.
Todd’s exit comes after he was replaced by another far-left commentator, Kristen Welker, in 2023, which significantly reduced his appearances on the network since then.
“There’s never a perfect time to leave a place that’s been a professional home for so long, but I’m pretty excited about a few new projects that are on the cusp of going from ‘pie in the sky’ to ‘near reality.’ So I’m grateful for the chance to get a jump start on my next chapter during this important moment,” Todd said in the memo obtained by USA TODAY.
“The ‘ChuckToddcast’ is also coming with me (thank you, NBC). Stay tuned for an announcement about its new home soon. Needless to say, I do plan to continue to share my reporting and unique perspective of covering politics with data and history as important baselines in understanding where we were, where we are and where we’re going,” he added.
NBC News expressed gratitude towards Todd for his contributions in pushing the agendas from the left to the American viewers.

Translation: He was fired and has nothing lined up.
The mood of the country has changed from indifference to hyper attention. If ABC, CBS, NBC want to remain in business they need to be fair.
The Chuck Toadcast will fail.
“Near reality”?
Well with F Chuck Todd never close to reality.
HAHAHA BYE BYE
So much winning!!!
I can’t begin to tell you how satisfying it is to watch the left melt down.
The Todd/Acosta report coming soon.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
These idiots think they will just slide into major podcasting numbers
More likely Air America numbers
Him and Jim Acosta can have a show called “Meet The Depressed”...........
There are going to be so many far left podcasts to choose from—decisions, decisions...
Lol.
The difference between F. Chuck Todd and other people who were let go from their previous Mockingbird Media jobs like:
Tucker
Kristal Ball
Lara Logan
Sheryl Adkisson
et...
...is that F. Chuck Todd went along with his Mockingbird Media masters at every turn down the road to irrelevance. Once his schtick had grown old and his reputation was completely ruined, they threw him to curb like yesterday’s garbage.
Tucker, Ball, Logan and Adkisson would question their Mockingbird Media masters and would often present a different narrative than what was acceptable. This ultimately led to their firing (just like F. Chuck Todd) but their reputations remained intact and they could go on to successfully pursue other opportunities in media.
F. Chuck will have no future in media just like the many other Mockingbird Media has-beens who nobody trusts.
I’m thinking that all of the “journalists” who are being let go are people who are going to get exposed and - hopefully - prosecuted or sued for blatant lies, manipulation and propaganda. The nets are trying to preemptively distance themselves from these toads in an effort at self-preservation.
It's been many decades since the broadcast networks even approached the concept of being fair.
The only thing Krystal Ball has going for her are her looks. She’s still a stone marxist. She nearly orgasmed after UPS settled with their drivers for $165K per year.
She’s incredibly leftist. Saagar is mushy middle. I tune in to see what she’s not wearing, and then tune out.
He always looked like a child molester, imho.
Bye bye Chuckie
Toad:
“jump start on my next chapter during this important moment”
He is painting his “will work for food” placards to try out on different street corners.
I do plan to continue to share my reporting....
