What happened to true American food recipes?
We made the ‘Marry Me’ chicken a while ago, just to see if it was as good as all the raves. It was ok, but my Dad’s Chicken Cacciatore is much better.
The sweet potato casserole is ‘American’; typical in the South.
Why is it called the “Marry Me” chicken?
Probably because it’s so good it will lead to a proposal from the person you serve it - ‘The way to a man’s heart’, etc.
I didn’t find it that great; good, but there are better chicken dishes.
Cabbage soup?
There were at least a few items with protein in them
Looked like vegan stuff otherwise.
Why not eat a delicious $58 thanksgiving dinner for 10 instead?
Think of how much gas those gigantic American gut sacks can hold!
I guess if you cannot afford McDonalds, a $58 thanksgiving feast for 10 is best!!
I’ll have a chicken fried steak.
That’s crap snack food and that’s why you gain weight. Eat 3 meals...no soda, no chips.
I do not understand why avocado toast would be number one. I found it very much not to my taste.
