A new video was released recently depicting the seven men and Trump supporters who were shot in the head without warning by Capitol Police on January 6, 2021.
According to earlier reports, Capitol Police Inspector Thomas Loyd Jr. ordered police to fire on the unsuspecting Trump supporters.
There is now video that shows the Trump supporters were not acting violently and had no idea they police were about to start firing rubber bullets at their heads.
Lloyd needs to be put in the DC Gulag, and then transferred to a CIA black site out-country. How many firearms did these protestors show up with and fire or brandish? None.
Well...my eyes see people pushing against the cops. Not sure how it is possible for the cops to be pushing against people unless those people are also pressed up against them.
I have some sympathy for those who may have come in later without seeing those up front forcing the cops backwards. But for those people -- and there clearly were some - trying to push through the cops...they earned more than bullets made of rubber. And again, I feel the same way about the 2020 rioters who were attacking/pushing against cops.
You are a TDS troll. LOL.
A rather interesting story behind that photo that most don't know....
The photograph of a South Vietnamese general executing a young Viet Cong fighter during the Tet Offensive shocked the world. Details that didn't make the papers paint a different story.
The photo, taken with one-in-a-million perfect timing as the bullet entered the man’s head, won Eddie Adams the Pulitzer Prize and has been reproduced countless times as an example of the brutality of war, and especially of the American war effort in Vietnam.
However, what most people at the time, and even now, don’t know about the events leading up to the “Saigon Execution” photo paint a somewhat different picture from what the public got at first glance. The man being shot in the “Saigon Execution” photo was Nguyễn Văn Lém, also known as Captain Bay Lop, and he was exactly the kind of enemy fighter that Loan’s men were looking for.
According to Lém’s widow, he had disappeared just prior to the Tet Offensive, and according to the soldiers who captured him in Saigon, he was caught practically red-handed leading a Viet Cong hit team tasked with killing National Police members or, if they couldn’t find any, their families instead.
On the morning of the “Saigon Execution” photo, Nguyễn Văn Lém’s death squad had just killed 34 people – seven police officers, two or three Americans, and several police officers’ family members, all bound at the wrists and shot in the head over a pit – and they may have been looking for Loan himself. Legally, this put Lém in a bad position. He wasn’t wearing a uniform, he wasn’t fighting a battle, and he had evidently committed a major war crime against General Loan’s own subordinates and their kids. As a war criminal and terrorist, Lém had effectively no protection under the Geneva Conventions and was eligible for summary execution when caught.

So none of the J6 people did anything wrong. None of them struck police officers, none of them threw anything, and none of them tried to push police officers. In fact, none of them even entered the Capitol at all -- it was all just a lie.
Keep living in your little fantasy world where everyone who supports Trump is an angel, and none of them are just idiots. Those of us who can see the real world know that just as some J6 protestors have been railroaded and screwed, some deserved what they got.
I knew the prisoner had it coming. Thanks for the in depth info.
That being said, we all deserve to know how many FBI assets were there, and specifically what they were doing. And if any were in there actively encouraging lawbreaking, they and their bosses should be prosecuted also.
Much of the violence instigated on 6 Jan was the work of agents provocateur. There is a science to the manipulation of crowds. The Deep State has experts on this. Ordinarily peaceful individuals can be manipulated to become violent and the media can be counted on to exaggerate this violence. How many “insurrectionists” brought weapons to their fight? Bruce, you claim to be living in “the real world.” Is that the source of your arrogance?
If by real world you mean under a bridge.
And I understand mob mentality. But plenty of people choose not to be part of the mob, and simply walk away.
I wouldn't credit that excuse for rioters on the left, so I'm not crediting it for those on the right either. But to be clear, I absolutely do draw a distinction between those who walked in non-violently later, and those who basically fought/push/smashed their way in, regardless of the "incitement" or "provocation".
.
bump
You aren’t in the real world.
Do you think that those citizens who assaulted cops on Jan 6 should not have been prosecuted?
Or do you think that there wasn't a single assault on cops by a citizen?
Aim your shitty guesswork elsewhere.
I notice you didn’t actually answer the question or address the issue. Pretty simple question - do you think any ordinary citizens assaulted any of those cops on Jan 6, or not?
Remember Waco and Ruby Ridge. Nothing stops liberals from, slaughtering and burning twenty-eight little kids and shooting a young boy, mother and family dog. In fact, J6 is Waco and Ruby Ridge all over again, different Democrat administration same results, death.
You did, huh?
“So you’re a “didn’t do nuffin” kind of guy too, eh?”
This is why.
Not really sure why this is a big deal. Agreeing that those Jan 6'ers who did attack cops should be punished at all should be noncontroversial. Whether the punishments actually imposed were excessive is an entirely different point.
