November 5th was a wonderful night to be an American, and we get to begin enjoying the election results today!
As we have been stating all along, the "landslide" which delusionals on both sides were certain was going to happen (Virginia to Trump! Iowa to Harris! Cao wins VA Senate! Allred defeats Cruz! LOL!) never did materialize. But Donald Trump was able to get back to where he was on election night of 2016, and he will be the 47th President of the United States. The Senate has gone almost exactly as expected as well (so far), with GOP pickups in West Virginia and Montana as well as a big tossup win in Ohio. Republicans may even get a bonus Senate seat or two in Pennsylvania and Nevada once all the votes are counted, although those are likely to turn out to be illusions.
But the extremely important U.S. House is still up for grabs.
As we predicted, a Trump win in 2024 could easily be accompanied by Republicans losing control of the U.S. House of Representatives. We forecast a net loss for the GOP of 2 to 8 seats and that is very likely what is going to happen -- though we won't know for sure for possibly as long as a month. Democrats need a net gain of four seats in order to seize control of the House from the Republicans. Surely they are planning for that coup by working on articles of impeachment for President Trump already.
The reason for the delay is Ballot Harvesting Month in the state of California. This is where party operatives (mostly Democrats) try to locate people who did not vote, and get them to fill out a ballot for the candidates of their choice. The party's choice, that is.
This will not affect the outcome of the races for President or Senator in California, but it will massively affect approximately half a dozen House races or perhaps even a larger number.
As this is being written on the morning after the glorious election, there are another two dozen (or more) House districts where insufficient votes have been counted or which are still too close to call despite nearly all votes having already been tabulated. We will enumerate all of these below.
Here are the districts which have been called as of Wednesday morning, and which have flipped from Republican to Democrat:
That's just a guess of course; nobody KNOWS anything with this many districts still up for grabs. This article shows exactly which districts are the ones to focus on. Pubbies are ahead in some possible pickups; they are also behind in many potential losses. It could go either way, and SOMEBODY coming out with a 218-217 advantage is not unlikely at all.
If the demonrats take the House, they will start impeachment proceedings and investigations immediately.
Speaking of which, Kamala and Dougie, get the hell out of JD and Usha’s house!
Its probably easier to cheat on a House district level than statewide. They have been monitoring for Fraud, and KEEP monitoring for fraud to keep the Ds from flipping these seats.
“Its probably easier to cheat on a House district level than statewide.”
You may be right but we’ve been told the opposite all these years. A state can be flipped by concentrated ghetto fraud in big cities (which are Democrat in all House districts anyway).
But even though districts are much smaller populations than states, we’ve been told that the Democrat Fraud Machine hasn’t spread so far outside the city limits. Yet.
In the long run, I think you are right.
Kamala and Dougie, get the hell out of JD and Usha’s house!
Dougie’s got a Kamala supporter who was a nanny who’s hot to trot.
Alex Degrasse on War Room just said GOP will hold house and may pick up 2-3 more. We have ppl that are curring to votes. Watching for cheating.
Looks like Nebraska will hold onto Bacon, thank goodness.
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue sounds like a pretty nice house to me.

He didn’t have a House before, and got a pile of shit done.
If they want to NEVER win again, they will.
It’s what sunk them this time around.
Let them knock themselves out.
We can blame them for anything that doesn’t work out really well :)
Staten Island paesani came through and put Maliotokis (or however you spell it) back in.
She’s of Greek descent but thats close enough to Italy :)
Not after 2018 he didn’t. Before 2019 the GOP controlled the House.
Name something from 2019 or 2020 which was important AND passed Pelosi’s House. If any such list exists at all, it’s a tiny one.
The saving grace for 2024 — IF the GOP loses the House it will be by a much smaller margin than 2018. So if any Democrats at all defect on an important issue while Republicans remain 100% united.... [I knew I couldn’t type that without laughing]
Much better to keep the House, but there’s still plenty of marginal districts to win (and others, to not lose) in order for that to happen. It’s looking better than it did a few hours ago, but California — with about 8 marginal districts — isn’t going to finalize for another 4 weeks.
"So if any Democrats at all defect on an important issue while Republicans remain 100% united.... [I knew I couldn’t type that without laughing]"
And I appreciate the laugh as well.
They split my district two years ago, and we lost Republican Claudia Tenney, and got first time GOP Rep. Brandon Williams. I voted for him in 2022, but wasn't planning on voting for him this time. I wasn't happy with his voting record. Thankfully they split the district again and gave Elise Stefanik the City Rome, NY, the city I live in, in the Mohawk Valley. It was a pleasure voting for her yesterday, and she won reelection.
I pray we can keep the House. It sucks that House races are all the last ones to have results. Back in 2020, Claudia Tenney ran to get her seat back, which she'd lost two years before. The race ended up in court. The Democrat Judge was charged with determining acceptance or rejection of absentee ballots that had originally been rejected. In the end, he made the right choice and seated Tenney, but she wasn't sworn in until February 11, 2021, and because of Covid, Pelosi wouldn't let Tenney's Marine son stand next to her when she was sworn in. He was relegated to watch his mother from the balcony.
Five of the 6 NY freshmen in 2022 — LaLota, D’Esposito, Lawler, Molinaro, Williams — behaved as if they knew just how much of a fluke it was that the got elected in the first place in 2022, and their voting records started out on the far left of the party. They did moderate a bit over time.
Santos was the exception (he voted conservatively), and it was his own NY GOP colleagues who were instrumental in giving him the boot. Morons.
Santos was never going to “drag them down” in the 2024 election as they feared, for 2 reasons:
1. Santos probably wasn’t going to even run, and would have lost the PRIMARY easily if he had run, giving the Republicans a good chance to hold the seat with a different candidate.
2. The Five Freshmen were always going to be in serious danger to one degree or another, and Santos had nothing to do with that. Then came the gerrymander which specifically targeted your district (Williams). And also shored up CD-3 for Suozzi, who actually seemed to need that help yesterday, and assisted Ryan in CD-18, who didn’t need the help.
It’s very close but D’Esposito and Molinaro are currently losing with nearly all votes counted. LaLota (who has the easiest district) and Lawler survived.
Futile without the Senate.
Thanks for the comment and info. I voted straight Republican ticket here in Rome, NY. Voted NO on Proposition 1. I see it passed. Stupid people in NY.
It looks like Golden (CD-2 Maine) is ahead by about 1100 votes with 95% of precincts counted. Golden is a Democrat
> Futile without the Senate.
True, but that didn’t stop them last time.
They were able to completely hamstring the Trump-45 administration with endless hearings and investigations, two impeachments, blackmailing his staff and family.
They will do it again, only with more venom.
