DAVID HOROWITZ: POLITICAL WAR
Powerline ^ | 11 October 2024 | Scott Johnson

Posted on 10/11/2024 6:20:29 AM PDT by Rummyfan

David Horowitz is founder of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and the bestselling author of several books, including the classic autobiography Radical Son and The Black Book of the American Left. His new book is America Betrayed. He has sent us this column for publication on Power Line. David writes:

Many Americans concerned about the fate of our country are asking themselves why the election polls seem so close. The Chinese have a piece of wisdom that suggests an answer: To restore civil sanity and order it is first necessary to call things by their right names. Whether out of politeness or cowardice, Republicans are lame at this.

As many of us have pointed out too many times to no avail, Democrats reflexively call conservatives racists, white supremacists, and Hitlerites, while Republicans respond by calling them “liberals.” What is liberal about attacking, undermining and seeking to abolish the First Amendment? Or interfering with presidential elections by mobilizing a corrupt judiciary to take the leading Republican out of the race? Or calling for government censorship of social media platforms, or privileging certain races over others?

What’s perversely fascinating is the extent of psychological denial and Projection by the commies / IneligibleHarris / extremist leftists.

They’re racist through and through, yet they smear Trump with that word, never ever citing even a single instance of it
They implement 20 or 30 percent inflation, thereby lowering the standard of living, confiscating your savings, and making even basic food difficult to purchase. And yet they’re now beginning to blame Trump for his four years of good economic performance for American people
They accuse Trump of being a dictator yet they subvert our entire electoral process from the public discourse to the voting to the counting of the votes to fake votes to ineligible aliens voting to rigged computers to rigged elections officials to corrupt judges. In brief, the DNC makes “banana republic elections” look good

***********

Wouldn't it be nice to have a party that fights for us instead of one that cowers and appeases?

You get what you vote for and the RINOs are easy to sort out. Just saying.

Republicans are wimps.

The politicians as well as the voters

They can either find the truth and the language to express it or be wimps and lose the country to these destroyers

Trump shows how it’s done

Instead of taking a lesson and using the same truths, republicans and conservatives preface everything with ‘Trump isn’t perfect. He has flaws’

So does everyone but Jesus.

They are dishonest and frightened. Democrats use it against them

Republican voters hope Dems convert and they wait for mainstream media to approve of Trump befor they say anything

They can’t figure out the truth and have confidence in it

They’d better get it together for this

The election is only the beginning

Trump will win the election the he’ll will break loose

Trump will win the election the hell will break loose. They will not allow him to take the oath. He won’t let them stop him

To restore civil sanity and order it is first necessary to call things by their right names.

Which is why I'm adamant that FReepers call things by their right names and not their woke names.

Common cases of woke terminology:

Using the term "sexual orientation" instead of "sexual preference" is woke.

Using “gender” instead of “sex” is woke.

Using “Black” instead of “black” is woke”.

Using “Gender affirming surgery” instead of “genital mutilation surgery” is woke.

Using "Undocumented immigrant" instead of "Illegal immigrant" or "Illegal alien" is woke.

Saying that someone was "assigned" a sex (or worse gender) at birth is woke. A person's sex is recorded at birth, not assigned.

Using the term "equity" (equal outcome) instead of "equality" (equal opportunity) is woke.

Affirmative Action = quotas = discrimination = woke.

Feel free to help me add to the list.

Horowitz is absolutely right.

There is NOTHING liberal, progressive, or tolerant about the Left, and there is NOTHING racist or nazi about decent Americans who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN who are the descendants--spiritual, cultural, and literal--of the people who gave their lives to destroy the evils of nazi Germany and who freed the American slaves and passed the civil rights amendments to the Constitution--in opposition to the Democrat Party which was and still is the party of slavery, oppression, the ku klux klan, et al. and the champion of every evil ever devised by man or the devil.

The problem with decent Americans is that they ARE liberal, progressive, tolerant, and truthful and are reticent about making claims which could be false and untruthful--unlike the hideous, evil Left which does so as a matter of routine.

Time to check in, they may have come to their senses…

I’m curious about this: “In a campaign worthy of the KGB, the Democrat Secretary of State suborned 51 top intelligence officials including the former head of the CIA to sign a letter calling Hunter Biden’s treasonous lap top “Russian disinformation” right before the 2020 election.”

Wasn’t Pompeo the last Trump Sec of State?

“You get what you vote for and the RINOs are easy to sort out.”

Like on every FR thread where we can see the self annointed hall monitors screeching, “Trump shouldn’t say those mean things.”
