When Liz Cheney attacked former President Donald Trump, she tried to say that she was a conservative in so doing.
The people in Wyoming didn't believe her and they roundly turned her out of office by almost 40 points. It's sort of hilarious that the media and the left think she's some kind of arbiter of what any Republicans think when she's that rejected and most Republicans can't stand her.
On Wednesday, Cheney proved just how false that claim about being conservative was when she endorsed Kamala Harris during a speaking engagement at Duke University in the battleground state of North Carolina.

"Because we are here in North Carolina, It is crucially important for people to recognize, not only is what I said about the danger that Trump poses something that should prevent people from voting for him, but I don’t believe that we have the luxury of writing in candidates’ names — particularly in swing states. And as a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this. And because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I am voting for Kamala Harris."
If you're voting for Kamala Harris, rather than just not voting for Trump, you are not a conservative. And if you do that after what they just did to manipulate the election, how they have attacked the Supreme Court, the lawfare against Trump, and trying to boot political opponents off the ballot, then you really don't care much about norms or our Constitution.
But don't take my word for it. Let's hear from Liz Cheney. Liz Cheney talking about Kamala Harris in 2020 and the danger she poses. Listen as Cheney explains what a radical liberal Harris is.
Kamala Harris is a radical liberal and supports dangerous policies that would devastate millions of Americans. See more from my interview with @AmericaNewsroom this morning. pic.twitter.com/0aV6Yd7tpt— Rep. Liz Cheney (@RepLizCheney) August 12, 2020
Kamala Harris is a radical liberal who would raise taxes, take away guns & health insurance, and explode the size and power of the federal gov’t. She wants to recreate America in the image of what’s happening on the streets of Portland & Seattle. We won’t give her the chance.— Liz Cheney (@Liz_Cheney) August 11, 2020
So Cheney is basically saying now she's cool with devastating millions of Americans with Kamala's radical policies, based on her prior comments. So much for any principles.
It's also hilarious that folks on the left are celebrating Cheney's endorsement as though it means anything. Republicans rejected Cheney, they're not being influenced by her. Plus, it's funny that the Democrats who called her father a war monger are now embracing her just because she says bad things about Trump. But it shows you where the Democrats are now. They would of course throw her under the bus in a red hot minute if it helped them.
Her endorsement is one more reason to vote for Trump to be free of such people.
Even Megyn Kelly mocked her presumption.
I’m sure Team Trump is quaking in its boots. https://t.co/7fAn5Vg0Zi— Megyn Kelly (@megynkelly) September 4, 2024
Liz Cheney is giving up nothing.
In fact, she’ll probably make a lot more $$ promoting her NEOCON BS at various think-tanks, board memberships, and paid speaking tours, funded ultimately by Fed.gov.
This was always her plan B. She will be rewarded for being a main anti-Trump character.
Didn’t know the Liz-ard was in my neighborhood. I did notice the flies were abundant today.
With any luck, her father will take her out hunting
“So, why doesn’t she switch parties?”
Because she can get more done for her party posing as a Republican
The last nail in the her coffin was many year ago. She’s been 6 foot under a long time ago
I hope you choke on all that hatred Liz... It’s a horrid way to go.
She hasn’t actually lived in Wyoming for years, if she really ever did at all. She lives between DC, North East Virginia, or California.
And make more Pieces of solver doing so.
Shamelessly.
A total POS.
“How many yeas (or decades) have Republican voters actually been voting real Democrats into office?”
Republican voters never learn. They vote for RINOs and then wonder why the Democrats always win.
Looks like Liz Cheney has not only morphed into being a Democrat, it looks like she has morphed into Rachel Levine
She grew up as a permanent resident in Washington DC.
She bought a house in Wyoming in 2012 so she could meet residency requirements to run for congress but has never spent much time there.
Her only connection to Wyoming is her father was a congressman in that state. But Dick Cheney was pretty much a full time Washington DC resident after being elected
Trump has had an extra four years to destroy the RINOs. These stupid political creatures joined with the DNC to prevent Trumps’ election victory and second trip to the WH in 2020. A footnote in political history will forever point to the fact that given the extra four years, Trump rebuilt the RNC into a conservation platform, and he rejected globalism.
Together with the Biden focus on Ukriane, Globalism met it’s foil and the politicans who the WEF trained to oversee a world transition to Communism is failing in EUrope.
The destruction of the economy by the DNC has only served to destroy the RINOs. McCain, Romney, McConnell scum-wing of DNC-Lite has been exposed for being the Democrats in Republican White-face.
Liz deserves a stint in the J-6 gulag once the clean up begins.
A “conservative” voting for a Communist, rather than a guy who wants limited government and a strong, self-reliant America. She’s no conservative, she a butt-hurt Corrupticrat with no principles other than lining her own pockets.
oh, I see. she’s been Californicated
📌
We can thank Trump for at least for one thing. Exposing the Deep State, Swamp, etc. whatever you want to call the bureaucrats who think they control the populace.
Our job, should we chose to accept it, is to prove them wrongl.
