When Liz Cheney attacked former President Donald Trump, she tried to say that she was a conservative in so doing.
The people in Wyoming didn't believe her and they roundly turned her out of office by almost 40 points. It's sort of hilarious that the media and the left think she's some kind of arbiter of what any Republicans think when she's that rejected and most Republicans can't stand her.
On Wednesday, Cheney proved just how false that claim about being conservative was when she endorsed Kamala Harris during a speaking engagement at Duke University in the battleground state of North Carolina.

"Because we are here in North Carolina, It is crucially important for people to recognize, not only is what I said about the danger that Trump poses something that should prevent people from voting for him, but I don’t believe that we have the luxury of writing in candidates’ names — particularly in swing states. And as a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this. And because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I am voting for Kamala Harris."
If you're voting for Kamala Harris, rather than just not voting for Trump, you are not a conservative. And if you do that after what they just did to manipulate the election, how they have attacked the Supreme Court, the lawfare against Trump, and trying to boot political opponents off the ballot, then you really don't care much about norms or our Constitution.

So Cheney is basically saying now she's cool with devastating millions of Americans with Kamala's radical policies, based on her prior comments. So much for any principles.
It's also hilarious that folks on the left are celebrating Cheney's endorsement as though it means anything. Republicans rejected Cheney, they're not being influenced by her. Plus, it's funny that the Democrats who called her father a war monger are now embracing her just because she says bad things about Trump. But it shows you where the Democrats are now. They would of course throw her under the bus in a red hot minute if it helped them.
Her endorsement is one more reason to vote for Trump to be free of such people.

I hear Liz Cheney is going pheasant hunting next month with her dad, Richard “The Dick” Cheney, in Texas.
This is Olympic level gaslighting.
As president, it was Biden who issued decree after decree purporting to exercise dictatorial powers, such as ordering landlords not to evict tenants during the pandemic or declaring null the amounts owed by people on student loans.
When Biden was shot down repeatedly by the courts, then they proposed schemes to pack or neuter the Supreme Court to remove the obstacle to his unconstitutional power grabs.
Cheney is essentially a neocon employee at this point and is deployed to wherever they think she is most useful. If Harris wins the election, Cheney will probably be appointed to some position out of a phony show of "bipartisanship."
Cheney owes her entire political career to riding on her father’s name. She probably never actually thought anything through for herself to begin with, so now she doesn’t know whether to sh*t or wind her watch. Just like Joe Biden.

I wonder how they got that final nail into her political coffin when it’s long been buried six feet under, with a concrete slab over it and a giant headstone that reads “MAGA” sitting on top of it.
She killed off any political career long ago. The question is why Wyoming doesn’t put her in an insane asylum for treatment
