The Việt Kiều, at least hereabouts, are pretty solidly Trump fans as are the Cubans in South Florida. They know about socialist/communist implementation. They left such systems for American freedom. Some are apprehensive.

Damn straight I know that is the Republic of Vietnam. Among the Vietnamese community, that flag never stopped being the flag of Vietnam. You might get your ass kicked if you would suggest otherwise. My old ‘hood... sure was nice in the late 60s early 70s. When I left northern Virginia, the “mixing bowl” was a yield sign where 495 merged with 95... and once you got past the beltway you were in the sticks. The good ‘ol days.

Note that Trump doesn’t need to clear out a restaurant of staff and patrons and replace them with campaign workers when he does a photo op. By contrast, Kamalalaladingdong has to do that to make sure she gets a positive response for the cameras.
