Minnesota Governor and Vice President wannabe Tim Walz is big into attributions of weirdness, but he presents as another case study in Democrat projection. To take just one small example, I thought his bragging that none of his Nebraska high school classmates went on to Yale was weird. It made me think of my own high school class of 38 guys. Three went to Harvard, two went to Yale, one to Princeton, one to Cornell, one to Brown, and one to Penn. I never understood it was something to be ashamed of.

Walz’s Yale shtick was nothing more than a stupid gibe at his Republican counterpart, Senator J.D. Vance. As a gibe, it partakes of multifarious weirdness. After his service in the Marines, Vance actually went to college on the G.I Bill. He obtained his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. Walz could have likened Vance to his high school classmates.
Like DNC keynote speakers Bill and Hillary Clinton, however, Vance attended Yale Law School. Let us also note, while we’re at it, that DNC keynote speakers Barack and Michelle Obama attended Columbia and Princeton, respectively, as undergraduates, before moving on to Harvard Law School. If attendance at elite Ivy League institutions is a mark of privilege or shame, the Obamas are basking in it.

Walz gives us another kind of story, though it’s not one that he tells himself. This weekend my daughter Eliana Johnson recounts Walz’s weird self-inflation in the Free Beacon story “For Tim Walz, a Pattern of Prevarications Stretches Back Almost Two Decades.”
“Almost two decades” is the span of Walz’s political career. It isn’t much of an exaggeration to observe that everything he says is a lie, including the words “a,” “and,” and “the.”...

I don’t think governor Walz is lying about his past. He’s just “unburdened by what has been.”
It should come as no surprise that normal people seem weird to weird people
Elected by vote, or by vote COUNT?
Also don't forget "we" elected obama twice, or did "we"?
And of all of the Ivys to be “dissing” Yale surprises me. Didn’t most of the past recent Presidents go to Yale? Hillary went there as well.
It just goes to the Dems celebrating mediocrity and insulting successful people.
I didn't vote for Obama. But those who did vote for Obama to get him elected likely lowered the average IQ of American voters in 2008 and 2012.
Fair point!
do you really want to know that!, all the smart people left many years ago
