Brian Craig, the co-host of the Steve Kane Radio Show, was speaking to a very very weird caller who claimed he had a "gotcha" tape of Brian saying something earlier on the show that day (August 20, 2024). When challenged by Brian to play the tape the weird caller said he couldn't because the tape was too far away from him in his house as if he lived in some sort of vast mansion. Brian then speculated that the caller was probably drunk on Thunderbird. Later in the show Brian explained he mentioned Thunderbird because he remembered my story about an Englishman on a cruise ship five years ago asking me for a recommendation for a fine American wine and I told him "Thunderbird."
I actually have a video of me subsequently encountering the Englishman and his group with me teaching them the Thunderbird ("What's the Word? THUNDERBIRD!") jingle. Unfortunately I could not find that video on my cell phone. However, Kamala Harris saved the day for me by telling me about files floating in a cloud just above my head.
A bonus section here with the most BIZARRE TV commercial ever made with an unexpected celebrity endorsement of... Thunderbird.
What’s the price?
44 twice!
In the video I told the Brits "A Dollar Twice." Inflation.
Back when, I could get an 8 pack of Grain Belt beer for $1, including sales tax.
Call them bum wines, street wines, fortified wines, wino wines, or twist-cap wines. Whatever you call these beverages for the economical drunkard, this page explores the top five. So curl up on a heating duct and enjoy...
