It appears that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has been caught red-handed.
Amid growing evidence that Walz has lied about aspects of his military service, an act known as stolen valor, the Harris campaign has scrubbed claims that Walz had served as a “retired command sergeant major” from their campaign website.
The Kamala Harris campaign scrubbed his bio page and replaced it with another bio.
Here is the link to the original claims made by the Kamala-Walz campaign.
This was another example of Stolen Valor – Walz was not a retired Command Sergeant Major.
And here is the language on the the current Kamala website with the corrected language.

He cannot “serve” as a Sgt. Major if he hasn’t achieved the rank of Sgt. Major.
Walz... The only democrat Kamala could find who was less desirable than her as President. The good news.. He’ll never be a heartbeat away, because she’ll never be President. The Dumocrats could make her President today if they forced Mr. Potato head to resign... But they won’t do that because even they know that she’s not Presidential material.

That will likely be exposed at some point... After all he was a teacher. There’s bound to be a student who he touched in some special way... But just how ‘special’ was it???
Not sure how the army works, but in the navy one can be frocked. You have the title but without the pay. I was frocked. I passed the tests but it took 6 months for the paperwork to go through because of budget problems. According to press accounts, Walz was promoted, but never completed testing/training before he retired. So it looks to me he retired as an E8 instead of an E9.

I’ve always found it very strange that liberals who disdain the military will jump at any chance to pretend they are a military icon.
I served on several senior NCO promotion and retention boards ... could always spot ones like him.
If he had legitimately achieved that higher rank and served with that higher rank he could have legitimately retired with that higher rank.
