In yet another fiery statement, former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back as he slammed Kamala Harris for bailing out a debate on September 4.
The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that Kamala Harris’ campaign has outright refused to participate in a highly anticipated debate against former President Donald Trump, scheduled for September 4th on Fox News. Instead, they are insisting on limiting the debate to far-left media outlets, revealing their desperate attempt to control the narrative and shield Harris from tough questions.
Trump took to Truth Social to clarify his position and announce the details of the upcoming event:
“I have agreed with Fox News to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC but has been terminated as Biden will no longer be participating. I am also in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, creating a conflict of interest. The Fox News debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at a site yet to be determined. Moderators will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the rules will mirror those from my previous debate with Sleepy Joe — BUT WITH A FULL ARENA AUDIENCE!”
Harris’s campaign has resorted to a defensive posture. Michael Tyler, the communications director for her campaign, accused Trump of being “scared” and attempting to back out of the debate he initially agreed to on September 10th. He claimed:
“Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out. He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10,” Tyler told NBC.

It’s in Trump’s interest to debate Harris early and often. Only then will Harris be confronted with her record. I don’t understand Trump. He ought to offer three debates, two more on dem grounds and one on his. IT’S IN HIS INTEREST TO DRAG HER ON STAGE.

The Sept 10 Debate was against Biden. It wasn’t scheduled against “a dem player to be named later” or “insert dem candidate’s name here.”

I don’t see how Trump could lose the debate, no matter what the format is! Kamala has so many things that go against her that I don’t believe that any additional efforts by the MSM to try to help Kamala will work.
He’s got to stop these personal comments if he wants to win this election. He’s got to focus on the issues, where she is weak.
He’s hitting her brand which is smart Issue are good but brand counts for low information voters.
Calling her dumb gets no votes. Articulate how she’s dumb and let her show how dumb she is.

I'm sure that's in his plans. It looks to me as if he's setting her up for matching lose-lose options.
1) She can duck all debates--and leave unanswered his loud observation that she's scared because she's as dumb as a bag of hammers. Very bad for turnout.
Or. . .
2) She can agree to the Fox debate and get her head handed to her--proving that she is as dumb as a bag of hammers. He might as well shame her into agreeing to at least one Fox debate ahead of time, making her look stupid in any case--since he'll shellack her even with Communist-network sycophants trying to cover up the holes in her brain.
He already has women voter problems. Saying his female rival is too dumb to debate is not helpful.

That's a perfect ad right there. People will doubt Harris' competence.
If she can't go on a debate with Donald Trump, how will she negotiate with Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un, all despots who will be ready to test her when she becomes the POTUS.
