I had a friend who worked the NMCC in the White House basement. When Hillary was in residence the only ones allowed to wear uniforms in the White House were the Marine security detail. Anyone else had to wear civilian clothes into the basement and change into uniform for their shift. She did not want to see any of the “underlings” in uniform when she was out and about.
