With that remark Kamala demonstrated that all she knows of Jamaica is the stereotype. I lived in a rural area on the south coast of Jamaica for a couple of years. The majority of Jamaicans do not want anything to do with marijuana and would definitely feel insulted to hear of her simplistic opinion of Jamaica. Yes there is a large segment of the population who use marijuana but a larger segment does not approve of it.
