What I was looking for in this video was evidence of bullet holes in the roof..... What I mean by that is a line of sight that would suggest that the path of a bullet would have ended up in the roof. At the 4 second mark, there is a view of roughly where the sniper was located as viewed from the second story window. In this view, it appears that if Crooks head was high enough, the bullet could have cleared the roof after going through him.

My guesses: If the kill shot did come from the 2nd Police/SS sniper pair on the roof to Trumps left (I've only seen videos of the 1st pair), their bullet seems to have hit him in the mouth, taking out his teeth, heading through his sinuses and into his brain. His eyes seemed still intact, so the shock-pressure was probably relieved (didn't pop his eyes out) by an explosion out the back of his head.
Some say, however, that when he was hit he was still laying flat on the roof, looking over the ridge, and in that case the bullet entered his mouth and went down his gullet with the same shock-compression dispersed within the whole of his body, the bullet only likely to be found at autopsy.

So we are supposed to believe that twenty year old Thomas Crooks was self financed. Made all these trips to DC and other locations and planned all of this by himself.
I’d be more Inclined to believe that he received an envelope with a hefty sum of cash in it from a short heavy woman in a pantsuit with incredibly thick ankles. And that how he was able to finance his mission. He was meeting someone in DC close to the FBI building.
If the feds were helping Crooks, why would Crooks be casing the setup and perhaps attracting attention?
Maybe because he was a rookie and he didn’t realize he was expendable to the deep state.

I think the real conspiracy is the government hoped someone would take a shot at Trump eventually and they were going to provide zero protection.

Wouldn’t they tell him to explore earlier than that day? Or just tell him him climb this ladder to go on the roof at a specific time?
They told him which building was clear. What else did he think he needed to see?
They needed somebody dumb enough or easily manipulated enough to agree to the job. Wouldn’t they know to give him very simple and specific marching orders?

if complicit, the deep state operatives would need to recruit a guy (1) with above average intelligence, (2) few or no friends, (3) some access to firearms (semiauto rifle preferred, ar-15 preferred), (4) young single incel white male preferred, and (5) residing about 2 hours’ drive from the assassination site, (6) access to autommobile transportation, and (7) has some loved ones.
they then tell the guy: do this wrong, or tell anyone about us, and we will not capture, torture and kill your loved ones. do this right, and we will leave your loved ones alone.
the guy is given some minimal training and instructions in person and by devices which are later intercepted and destroyed along with finishing off the guy himself.
he is given a target located about 2 hours away from him so that any of his visits to the site are less likely to be noticed and do not arouse suspicion.
