A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for abandoning a dog with zip ties on its mouth and neck in a remote area of Malibu.
The German shepherd was found in a remote area near Malibu Creek Canyon on July 3. It was found by two people who were out hiking at around 7:45 p.m.
According to a press release from the organization In Defense of Animals, the dog’s mouth was zip tied shut, and another zip tie was constricting his neck.

I lost my lab Lucy to lymphoma a year ago yesterday. She was old but strong and prednisone suppressed her symptoms and kept her alive for eleven weeks, but the condition is terminal. So sorry this poor boy had to suffer this, but I’m afraid he doesn’t have long

From its appearance, it is not a young dog.
The dog has lymphoma so its clear the cretin who did this didn’t even want to pay to have the dog euthanized when it eventually succumbed to the cancer.
Sick. Whoever did this had the option of putting the dog up for sale, adoption, giving it away, or at worst having it humanely put down. But no… abandonment, and leaving the animal to die in a tortured way was chosen.
Hope the person who did this is found and punished.

Unfortunately, it’s not going to happen. The district attorneys in California aren’t going after animal abusers. They are barely prosecuting criminals who are trying to murder law abiding Americans.

California has become so full of emboldened low life, misfits and criminals. And many of them are now in power. Very disturbing.
Sleazy Gascon only got 32% in his primary. He is trying to court voters, so he may go after the perp here. His chances of winning are in the to big to steal range. The attempt to recall him failed because too many signatures were rejected frivolously on the petition to get a vote. A lot of people are p o’d about that. The county registrar may have jumped the shark on rejecting signatures

That poor dog looked so defeated, even after they removed the zip ties. Breaks my heart.
I suggest that the Animal Cruelty A$$}{0£€ when caught be taken out in the forest stripped naked, tied down over a tree stump during the Deer Rut Season and spray his A$$ with Doe Scent. And stuff a tennis ball in his mouth and secured with Duct Tape.
