Democrats are in a panic -- Joe Biden could bring it all down!
Early Saturday morning I was planning on continuing to produce a three-item essay for this week, focusing on the debate, the Supreme Court's Chevron ruling, and Rep. Luna's "Inherent Contempt" initiative, but a single tweet changed my mind.

At 2:36 PM yesterday, Barack Obama posted the following tweet on X, formerly Twitter

By the conclusion of last Thursday's debate, Joe Biden's allies within the Democratic Party, including strategists and ordinary voters, were in a state of panic due to his frequent stumbling, awkward pauses, and mumbling, that was often hard to follow.
Obama doesn’t want Biden off the ticket because then he and his gang lose their influence. They like having a useful idiot at their disposal. Obama’s fourth term is at stake here!
So, Obama wants voters to stay with Biden no matter how bad he was, but why would he want voters to stay with Biden who clearly has Alzheimers or dementia or something? Obama -- and Nurse Jill -- are clearly forcing a man with clear cognitive decline into office, because Obama knows, no matter who they would replace him with, the fix is in. Obama has a plan, and that plan includes a clear-cut case of elderly abuse to stay in power.

The New York Times is the "house organ" for the Democratic Party and yet it was the very first newspaper to come out in strong opposition to Joe Biden continuing in the office of the presidency. Democrats In Disarray
The proverbial "bell has rung," and in a damning blow, the newspaper's editorial board wrote:
"There is no reason for the party to risk the stability and security of the country by forcing voters to choose between Mr. Trump's deficiencies and those of Mr. Biden. It's too big a bet to simply hope Americans will overlook or discount Mr. Biden's age and infirmity that they see with their own eyes."
So, now we have a clash of Democratic Party interests -- Joe Biden's need to stay in office to stay out of prison, Obama's need to continue his "Quiet Revolution," and the Party's need to survive.

NBC News tells us that the Democratic Party rules make it almost impossible to replace nominees without their consent. If Joe Biden consents, he gives up the protection of the office to all the criminal charges that can be brought against him: The Biden Crime Family stuff; the illegal alien Invasion; the lawfare and more. If he doesn't consent, the Democrats and Biden go to war..
Nevertheless, The Telegraph says the Democrats are seriously considering, finally, whether to dump Biden as their prospective presidential nominee. Without drastic, nearly unprecedented action now, they may be on the way not only to losing the White House, but to significant losses in Senate, House, state and local races as well. Axios believes the only way Biden steps aside, despite his debate debacle, is if the same small group of lifelong loyalists who enabled his run suddenly -- and shockingly -- decides it's time for him to call it quits. The Obama camp

It was unlikely that Biden’s former and current boss would be the one to sit him down and tell him to fall on his sword.
Obama had a similar conversation with Biden ahead of the 2016 election, when he told him that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s run would make it impossible to endorse his old vice president.

I am often accused of being a conspiracy theorist on a wide range of topics—but here I see genuine confusion and no conspiracy.
Imho Biden’s handlers thought that he was going to do OK in the debate—maybe not great—but OK.
Dementia can be intermittent and it does not follow the rules. The dementia patient can be reasonably good for a couple of hours and then turn into a blithering idiot with very little warning.
Biden got hit hard with the hammer of dementia—in front of tens of millions of people.
Stuff happens.
