Vanity: J6 Prosecutor Road Rages and Stabs Driver
Vanity / Twitter ^

Posted on 04/07/2024 1:49:29 AM PDT by TigerClaws

This is Patrick Douglas Scruggs.

Patrick is a federal prosecutor who helped put Capitol trespassers in prison, and perpetrated the narrative that these people were grave threats to society.

In September, 2023, a driver on a bridge hit Mr. Scrugg’s car.

Mr. Scruggs got out of his car, broke the driver’s window, and proceeded to stab him over and over again with a knife.

A couple got out of their car and tried to help the stabbing victim, then Mr. Scruggs tried to stab the couple.

Scrugg’s attorney stated that his client is innocent until proven guilty, and has asked the public to “keep an open mind” because his client “was part of a chaotic situation”.

What happened to the driver that was stabbed? Did he live?

He sounds like he lived.

Scruggs is accused of breaking the window of a vehicle that hit his sedan on Interstate 275 on Tuesday morning and stabbing the driver, the Tampa Bay Times reported. Scruggs also allegedly attempted to stab a couple who stopped to help the victim and then fled the scene. He was apprehended by police shortly after and arrested on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault and armed burglary. The victim was hospitalized for serious injuries.

“...Meanwhile, former assistant, US attorney Patrick Scruggs, who prosecuted some of the J6 protesters and gave them very stiff sentences, has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and armed burglary. He was out on $65,000 bail on the same day of his stabbing spree.

Eyewitnesses accuse him of breaking the window of a vehicle that hit his sedan on Interstate 275 and stabbing the driver. He also attempted to stab a couple who stopped to help the victim and then fled the scene. The stabbing victim was hospitalized for serious injuries....”

Armed burglary is an interesting charge. Wonder what they think he stole or was trying to steal?

I’m guessing the keys of the car, so the other driver couldn’t drive away.

former U.S. prosecutor from Tampa who helped the federal government indict Florida residents accused of participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol is about to stand trial himself.

According to court records, Patrick Douglas Scruggs is expected at the Pinellas County Justice Center on May 3 at 8:30 a.m. for a pre-trial hearing on allegations that he stabbed a 35-year-old man with a pocket knife during a road rage incident last year.

Mr. Scruggs, 38, who has been released on bond, was arrested last September and faces three felony counts of armed burglary, aggravated battery and aggravated assault....

Other report says the good Samaritans had stopped to check on a driver who was slumped in a car on the bridge. When he was startled awake, he apparently hit the gas and rear ended the couple’s vehicle. Then he put his car in reverse as Scruggs was driving by and hit Scrugg’s car and stopped.
Scruggs then got out and broke out the giy’s window, and started stabbing the driver....

It’s just a Honda Civic EXT that got damaged. Hardly worthy losing everything over it.

It’s a $30,000-$35,000 car if it was brand new.

“..felony counts of armed burglary, aggravated battery and aggravated assault..”

Gee, back in the NORMAL world, if someone stabbed another in a fit of rage with a knife, it would be called attempted murder… how times have changed..

Ah, but he is deep state, so he is not subject to charges that normal people would get.

I’m going to venture that the worst sentence he gets will be an ankle bracelet for a couple years and a few weeks of community service.
