Jack Smith asks DC Judge Boasberg To Decide What Trump Classified Doc Evidence to Show Florida Judge

If you ever needed a good point to highlight the nature of political Lawfare, this is a great example.

Julie Kelly essentially notes that Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is asking DC Judge James Boasberg to decide what evidence should be given to Florida Judge Aileen Cannon.

Julie Kelly – “It appears that records related to the grand jury proceedings in DC on the classified docs case remain under seal and have not been transmitted to Judge Cannon or defense.

Recall that almost the entire investigation into the classified docs matter took place in Washington DC–not southern FLA even though it is the controlling jurisdiction since the alleged “crime” of retaining classified records/national defense info happened at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

DOJ then Jack Smith kept the case in Trump-hating DC courthouse so they could get favorable rulings from then-chief judge Beryl Howell–which they did. For example, Howell cited the crime fraud exception to justify piercing atty-client privilege between Trump and his lawyer, Evan Corcoran, to force Corcoran to turn over his records to DOJ.

Highly unlikely that would have happened in FLA especially before Judge Cannon. But right before indictment, Jack Smith moved the case to Florida. Reports at the time indicated DOJ read summaries of its grand jury evidence to a FLA grand jury in order to secure the indictment.

So, how is it almost nine months post-indictment that trove of evidence remains under seal? When the issue was raised, David Harbach said DOJ was “in the process” of asking the current DC chief judge James Boasberg to review the file, add redactions if needed, and transmit to FLA court. (link)" .

Jack Smith is trying to bring DC judge, methods, and corruption into the Florida court case to undermine Trump's defense and Judge Cannon's control of the case.

It’s a good thing there are no Republican DAs and judges in red states willing to engage in Lawfare. One side is enough. Besides, severe conservatives don’t behave like that.

That reads like a judge is serving as a prosecutor.

All these activities seem to me to be a dodge by Jack Smith to escape a contempt chrge or have the case dismissed. So he’s just running the clock, because he can’t drop charges for election reasons but doesn’t want to be in trouble for violations of due process.

This make sense?

If God brought Trump on board to save the nation. If it is Trump’s ability, strength, backbone, stamina and willingness to fight for this nation..
I realize many give no credibility to God actually being real and reachable. I realize many would laugh at the idea God would reach out to Trump.. A man you consider not Christ enough.
Just read about David. God explains why He chose David.. Get beyond our own limitations.
For you who won’t go read it, I will paraphrase it for you.
God passed on 7 other brothers who fit the role. God said we look at what the eye sees.. Hair, talk, manner, size... God looks inward at the heart. In David, God found a willing man.. Willing to serve, and able to fight the giants. Weak in other areas, but asked for and received, forgiveness.
Thank you..

Cannon should just throw his case out with prejudice.

Cannon ought to give him 48 hours to produce the evidence or she will dismiss the case for lack of evidence

“Jack Smith is asking DC Judge James Boasberg”

Jack Smith appears to be a stupid man to me.

At least he has enough sense to ask for help.

Obama appointed DC judge Beryl Howell is a fanatical Trump hater. Trump can't get any justice in DC.

WIKI

James Emanuel “Jeb” Boasberg (born February 20, 1963) is the chief judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He served as the presiding judge of the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court from 2020 to 2021

After high school, Boasberg attended Yale University, where he was a member of Skull and Bones and graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude

attended Yale Law School, where he was a classmate of future Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh

In 2020, he was appointed to the United States Alien Terrorist Removal Court and designated chief judge

On April 26, 2012, Boasberg ruled that the public had no right to view government photos of a deceased Osama bin Laden. Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, had filed a request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), but were unsuccessful in convincing Boasberg that FOIA rights outweighed national-security factors

On August 22, 2016, Boasberg ordered the release of over 14,000 emails found in the United States Department of State correspondence of Hillary Clinton by the FBI during an investigation of Clinton’s private server. These emails were requested by Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, because the FBI had indicated that emails were work-related and not entirely private as Clinton had previously said

On August 18, 2017, Boasberg dismissed a lawsuit from the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), which had sued the IRS under FOIA seeking President Donald Trump’s personal tax returns from 2010 to the present to be released. Boasberg concluded that because personal tax returns are confidential, they may only be obtained either by permission from Trump himself or if Congress’ joint committee on taxation signed off to allow the disclosure

On March 27, 2019, Boasberg blocked a work requirement for recipients of Medicaid in Arkansas and Kentucky

Look up slimeball in the dictionary. You will probably encounter a picture of Judge Boasberg. He is the posterboy for America’s 1.3 million corrupt lawyers.

A simple response would be for the Florida judge to say, “If I can’t see the evidence, I’ll dismiss the case!”

“The digital information singled out for collection includes social media accounts, cell phone lists, speed dial numbers, laptop images, thumb drives, iPods, Kindles, and cameras. All of the information is then uploaded to the TIDE database.”

“The largest is the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE), which gathers terrorism information from sensitive military and intelligence sources around the world. Because it contains classified information that cannot be widely distributed, there is yet another list, the Terrorist Screening Database, or TSDB, which has been stripped of TIDE’s classified data so that it can be shared.”

The Sixth Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees the right to confront one's accuser in a criminal case. This crucial protection compels witnesses to testify in court and be subject to cross-examination by the accused, allowing the jury to assess the credibility and reliability of the evidence presented.

Brady v. Maryland, 373 U.S. 83

The government's withholding of evidence that is material to the determination of either guilt or punishment of a criminal defendant violates the defendant's constitutional right to due process.

Which part of this is not clear?
