Woke Connecticut School District Removes Veterans Day and Columbus Day from Holiday Calendar

In a controversial decision, the Stamford Board of Education has voted to remove Columbus Day and Veterans Day from the list of school holidays, requiring students to attend school on these dates.

The decision, passed with a 5-3 vote, overruled previous years’ push-back from local veterans and Italian-Americans.

The motion’s supporters, Joshua Esses, Michael Hyman, Gabriela Koc, Versha Munshi-South, and Antonia Better-Wirz, advocated for a shorter school year, arguing that a 181-day calendar extending into mid-June was too long.

The proposal was initially brought up by board member Versha Munshi-South, an Indian like Nimrata Randhawa aka Nikki Haley. And what is Haley known for? That's right, started the movement of erasing our Southern Confederate culture, monuments, statues, flags, and heritage.

Have no problem getting rid of Columbus Day (he never set foot in what is now the US and is not part of our history - it was made a federal holiday as a sop to court Catholic voters). But what is so offensive about Columbus Day?

Columbus day was to honor the contributions Italian Americans made. And it followed a series of lynchings in Louisiana. And yeah, he is part of our history. His voyages opened up the New World and directly lead to our establishment here.

He sailed the ocean blue, in 1492.

Simple solution. Every single patriot teacher and all students call in sick on Monday, November 11, making it a de facto holiday. Better yet, have the town organize a parade and have all patriot teachers and students be a part.
