I became a naturalized Texan on 7/8/1976, when I reported for active duty at Fort Bliss. Except for my 4 year tour in Germany, I've remained here.

I've done two important things for my 3 kids that can't be taken away: I made sure they were born in Texas, and I taught them how to swim. Everything else is secondary.
