The Army is mourning the unexpected loss of a young soldier-athlete who had her sights set on an Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling this summer.

Spc. Estrella “Star” Dorado Marin, 21, died Jan. 3 in Thornton, Colo., of complications from emergency surgery, the Army said in a statement Wednesday.

She had experienced numbness in her upper extremities from blood clots, her family told the Army.

Dorado Marin, whose nickname came from the English translation of her first name, enlisted in the Army in 2020 as a fuel supply specialist and later joined the service’s World Class Athlete Program as a freestyle wrestler.

How often did 21 year olds die of blood clots prior to the vax?

No guessing necessary from the reported conditions: upper extremety numbness from microblood clotting is right out of the clotshotting play book. Especially with people who are physically active. And what the bleep kind of surgery were they doing?

Logical question! My guess would be that it was extremely rare!

In athletes? Probably about the same. One of the primary causes of blood clots is injury.

Well, you have a point except for this.

She had experienced numbness in her upper extremities from blood clots, her family told the Army.

You don’t get micro clots that cause numbness in the extremities from injuries.

Yes, they did. It would not surprise me at all if they had threatened her with a less than honorable discharge. So possibly, she caved. Poor woman.

Well, it would be some comfort for her to know that the Government changed the claim from:

Getting the vaccine will prevent you from getting Covid to:

Getting the vaccine won't protect you from getting Covid but it won't be as serious.

Why does the Army have a wrestling star when they are struggling to fully man their units. Seems like a waste of tax payer dollars.

The Army has a world class band too. You can't just sign up. You have to audition. Many members of the band have a masters or doctorate degree, and the Army has sent some of them to the Juilliard School of Music.

That’s like trying to prove a negative. And if that’s the route they’re going with the shots, then they can’t complain when we talk about how many lives were saved thanks to gun owners in America.

“You don’t get micro clots that cause numbness in the extremities from injuries.”

Yeah, you can; from injuries or health issues that cause inflammation.

In any event, I read the article. It said nothing at all about “micro clots.” The article just said “blood clots,” and that they caused numbness in her upper extremities. Micro clots are generally found in small blood vessels, and can result from injuries or health issues that create inflammation.

Let’s not rush to judgment and blame the jab. It may well be found that the jab did cause her clots; then again, it may well be found that the clots were the result of injury, or some underlying medical condition.

[You’re just a retard.]

Many decades ago, had a high school acquaintance expire from a blood clot during gym class. Aneurysms have existed at least as long as written records. This kid was fit as a fiddle and just missed the cut for track and field. Many of these issues exist at birth, some as a product of the specific pregnancy and others as the result of bad genes. This is why, from time to time, physical exams are generally a good idea - you never know if there’s a time bomb ticking in there.

They don’t call it the “clot shot” for nothing.
