Gillian Anderson, who is best known for her role in Sex Education and The X-Files, graced the red carpet in a gown embroidered with vaginas to protest ‘restrictions to female rights.’

“My dress is designed by Gabriela Hearst and it has vaginas on it,” Gillian Anderson said to a reporter on the red carpet.

“So, female anatomy? Ok, why did you choose this?” the reporter asked.

“For so many reasons. For so many reasons,” she said.

“Oppenheimer” deserved to win and did. Downey Jr. and the Irish guy were very good.

“Succession” was a good show the first two seasons, but the last two were horrible. It won, but did not deserve to. Whether the actors were any good or not, their parts were ridiculous. I only got half-way through the last season.

I'm forever impressed what a fading celebrity's do to try and stay in the public eye.

Not so fading. Only a couple of years ago, Anderson gave an excellent -- and much acclaimed -- portrayal of Maggie Thatcher in The Crown.

Anderson's politics might be typical Hollywood vile, but she is a highly talented actress.
