So, Warner Bros, in one of these sketchy incidents, that keep happening of late, “overestimated” the weekend numbers for “The Color Purple” by over $2 million.
Warners had originally stated that ‘Color Purple’ made $13.8 million, but the actual number is said to be around $11.7 million

Just like everything else, they inflate the figures to make you want to go because for some reason people think if a movie is popular they will go.

The wildest story today for me was the black dude that swan dived at a Judge after being denied probation with the gay like punching law clerk trying to subdue him.
No doubt his family will try to claim excessive force.
When I saw that law clerk punching the first thing that came to mind was the scene in Blazing Saddles where the fruit was pummeling the cowboy saying “You brute!” over and over.
That made me cry. 🤣

Movies are so over. I’d be surprised if movies ever made a comeback like they used to be, even if they dumped all the wokeism.
Saw that video too. The clerk visibly punching the perp was throwing punches like a girl!
