Poor Joe Biden. He just can't stop the bleeding. Then again, when you constantly — and intentionally — shoot yourself in the foot, the chances of pulling out of a full-blown nosedive are pretty much zero.
Such was the case on Wednesday when a new CNN poll — such irony — revealed that Biden has now reached the lowest approval rating of his miserable presidency. The most intentionally inept U.S. president in history stood at just 37 percent approval in November, two points less than in October, and the lowest since he assumed office in January 2021.
Check out the steady decline:
- November 2023: 37 percent
- October 2023: 39 percent
- August 2023: 39 percent
- July 2023: 41 percent
- December 2022: 46 percent
- June 2022: 38 percent
- October 2021: 50 percent
- March 2021: 51 percent
Yep, Joe did that. And arguably, all by himself. And on purpose, no less.
Fittingly, despite Biden's incessant crowing (lying) about the wonders of Bidenomics, and how everything in the country is rainbows and unicorns for everyday Americans, the struggling economy remains the top issue among likely voters — and the president's greatest vulnerability. His approval rating in November on the economy was the second-lowest of his presidency, at just 33 percent — one in three Americans.
- November 2023: 33 percent
- October 2023: 36 percent
- May 2023: 34 percent
- December 2022: 36 percent
- June 2022: 30 percent
- December 2021: 45 percent
- March 2021: 49 percent
"Helping the middle class" has long been a rallying cry of the Democrat Party. But in Biden's case, the middle class hasn't exactly felt the love; he stood at just 35 percent approval at the end of November.
- November 1-30, 2023: 35 percent
- October 4-9, 2023: 39 percent
- Sept. 3-Oct. 5, 2022: 41 percent
- April 28-May 1, 2022: 36 percent
- Jan. 10-Feb. 6, 2022: 41 percent
- December 8-12, 2021; 45 percent
- March 3-8, 2021: 50 percent
So what's poor Joe to do? Other than stop lying about the wonders of Bidenomics, that is.
Welp, maybe look America in the eye and admit his economic policies have failed — miserably so. Biden will never do that of course, for a myriad of reasons. Most notably, his sense of self is incapable of letting him admit he's been wrong.
Secondly, because Democrat economic policies are pretty much hardwired. (See: George Bernard Shaw, "A government that robs Peter to Pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.")
Allow me to use a double-negative, on purpose. Biden just can't not lie about Bidenomics.
Joe remains infatuated with the term, of course, but a quick read of any or all of the following RedState articles provides all of the facts one needs to understand that despite the president's protestations to the contrary, Bidenomics and its underlying policies have been a disaster for the American people from the outset.

Moreover, there are no positive indicators I'm aware of that suggest the Biden economy is going to change the perception of tens of millions of everyday Americans, any time soon.
It's been said that perception is more important than facts. Generally speaking, I subscribe to that belief. However, in the sad case of Bidenomics — make that Joe Biden's economy —perception and facts are in complete alignment.
And, yup — Joe did that. On purpose, no less.
That’s fine. Bush had a rating of about 28% iirc before the 2008 election. So Biden has room to improve.
51% in 2021 and 37 now. Since the disaster upon us was glaringly foreseeable, that makes the other 14% who have changed their minds f’in imbeciles.
But we knew that. As to the remaining 37%, I’m surprised they’re bright enough to keeping breathing in their own. Half our fellow citizens are irredeemable morons
It was for some reason difficult to view it unless you could watch it on television. I don’t have any of the TV services. My usual online sources didn’t seem to be carrying it live, so it took me a while to find it.
But I had found it at the very beginning and then lost it, so I saw the opening. They initially had De Santis’ mic muted, and then when the camera turned to him, the image jumped around. I doubt that it was an accident.
When I finally did get back to it, I was treated to a Ramaswamy scream-fest. What is the point of having a “moderator” who never moderates and lets the screamers shriek unintelligibly over each other?
If he runs again and they make him win, they will also make these numbers miraculously increase. Anything is okay when Trump is the possible winner.
The real shocker, here, is that 37% of folks polled still think he’s viable as pResident. He’s not even viable as a functioning human, at this point.
Still too high.
Give it a few days for the bounce he’ll get when the left hears that he’s on drugs and wandering around naked at night.
Hard to believe his approval number is that high- 37%.
Within two weeks it’ll be forty three percent again. Trust me.
So that means that 37% of the people polled don’t care what happens to the country as long as our tax dollars keep filling their accounts.
Biden’s miserable presidency
Remember what party MADE it possible for you at election time.
It’s not Biden, it’s the Democratic Party.
If Bernie were President not a damn thing would be different.
it’s the Democratic Party.
That was the point they never change for the better.
