Does anyone else see the irony of having COP28 in Dubai, a city that would not exist but for the production and distribution of crude oil? Not to mention the fact that tens of thousands of tons of CO2 were pumped into the atmosphere by all the jet setters getting there, who then wail and gnash teeth about ‘fossil fuels’? You really can’t make this stuff up...
