Texas ordered to remove floating Rio Grande barriers
Washington Examiner ^ | 1 December 2023 | Kaelan Deese

Texas must remove a floating barrier it placed at the Rio Grande to deter immigrants from illegally crossing the United States-Mexico border, an appeals court ruled Friday.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit ruled 2-1 to decline a request by Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) to reverse a lower court decision that had ordered it to remove the 1,000-foot-long string of buoys placed at the river in July near Eagle Pass, Texas. The decision can still be appealed, but it marks a victory for the Biden administration's efforts to remove the barriers, arguing they unlawfully block navigation and cause humanitarian concerns.

It should be ignored, like many sanctuary states that nullify federal immigration law. No difference. Have Potemkin Joe (Obama) send in the military if he dares.

arguing they unlawfully block navigation

Yeah, they want to make sure there are no impediments to military vessels, container ships, cruisers and any other ships that navigate the vital Rio Grand waterway.

They could do this - but you can be sure the Biden admin will take the time, money and effort to send in the Army Corps of Engineers or National Guard to dismantle it.

Why aren’t these fascist biatches in black robes being arrested for aiding and abetting millions of criminal foreign invaders swarming into America to steal from the American Taxpayers? What they are doing is unconstitutional. It’s time for America to wake up and start taking a closer look at these treasonous morons and start indicting them one at a time.

If this sh*t was legal, why don’t these tyrants in black robes just let the invaders walk up to the border and walk in? Why do they have to act like the bottom feeding animals they are and have to sneak up to the Rio Grande and then wade across? These friggin’ “judges” are endangering the lives of these criminals. The Government is whining about cutting Social Security benefits who have been paying into Social Security all their lives? Why? Because the bass turds spent all the money we had stolen from our paychecks and need every penny they can steal for their illegal foreign voters who sneaked into America like the thieves they are.

Correct. Unbelievable, but correct. Ala Greta Thundberg (aka Scoldilocks...) “How DARE they protect their border!!!” A good number of people have been completely taken over by darkness, and a disproportionate number of them are leading the foundational institutions of our nation.

What if Texas refuses? Are the judges going to take up arms? Are they going to send in the US military?

If I were Texas, I’d tell the court of appeals to go pound sand. It’s high time we militarized the border anyway.

I said this to a friend the other day. Deploy the Andy Jackson tactic: “You’ve made your ruling. Now enforce it.”

arguing they unlawfully block navigation and cause humanitarian concerns

1) Is the Rio Grande a navigable river if people can wade across it?

2) Humanitarian concerns about illegal aliens should not be the subject of American laws. Take that crap to the U.N. This judge is wicky-wacky!
