Have you ever had a strange experience while driving? Imagine this: you turn off your car, and as you step out, you hear a cry for help. But where is it coming from? Well, for one family, the answer was truly unexpected. When Mary Wolford's family turned off their car after a long drive, they heard a cry coming from the engine. Little did they know that it was a cry for help from a tiny, fluffy creature who had hitched a ride with them.

When Buddy the cat lived in the yard, he was at first terrified to be near or even be seen. Now when he goes out, I can whistle and he comes running to me to go back inside.

I’ve had 3 ferals, and they warm to you soon enough, and are wonderful companions.

Similarly, our (formerly) feral cat has a sweet nature and has no annoying habits. Much to my surprise, I am now a cat person.

I cannot know for sure, however, I highly suspect that he never made it to the shelter. You mean the lady gave the kitten a clot shot and it died?

As I say, I am not a cat person, but I somehow find myself buying the most expensive brand of cat food at the local supermarket because he likes it the best, let him sleep on my bed and on the top of my dresser on a clean sheet, worry when he is outside, and let him approach me at any time for affection.

Nice; you’re gradually becoming a “cat person”. They groom us every day. Remember the old saying:
Dogs have masters; cats have staff.

That about gets the sense of things. And cats are quite smart. After a few days of rewarding my cat with treats every time he came back indoors, I realized that the cat was going out more frequently — in order to get the treats when he came back in.

I love cats, but I can never finish a whole one.

In the battle of wits between man and feline, I have only a twenty per cent success rate on getting Buddy the cat to vet appointments. I wish that I had videos of my efforts to put on YouTube. The revenue would have us both eating well.

Even with a the little paw prints on the paint.
