Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Thanks for re-posting.
I didn’t see the moving van until after our is have put it here in the first place.
Too bad I don’t have access to any server space; I took pictures in the theater lobby, and for all my literary skill, I couldn’t tell the half of it.
Marmalade says for the baby to stay put!
Good morning. I reset the alarm so I could sleep a little longer, but I still woke up too soon.
It’s just as well. Laundry is waiting, but at least it’s not going into dryers today. Other than laundry, it’s just another day in Paradise.
It’s 37° but we’ll get up to 60 Fs today, with bright sunshine!
Thanks ….. will get in line for refreshments ….. Thanks
In the ‘80s, our cat would “answer” the phone when it rang — Knocked the receiver off the hook. (Never said “meow, though.) If we were gone, though, it would ring busy for hours and not go to answering machine. We had to relocate it — the phone, not the cat.
If I were a cat …. Would I let my owner in ? No catnip No entry ⛔️
Not much of a line these days, but the cookies and cocoa are always ready. Help yourself! ;o]
That’s funny. I never heard the term, “undead thread”. There’s been one running for the last several months, about Zelensky being dictator for life ... It’s that an undead thread?
Face, you haven’t been hiding my laxatives, have you ? I’m never gonna get my school girl figure back, if my laxatives are missing. A supreme diet of pooping myself to 36-22-64. And where are my diapers ? At least I’ll have pleasant memories of the move.
Congratulations on the sunshine. I don’t know what to expect here. Jake has been out and came right back, so something was unsat.
Yes, that was the previous Undead Thread.
The Undead Thread is a social event. We move about, from thread to thread, providing an oasis of cheerful chat to anyone who arrives and wants to participate. Also cat pictures.
It sounds really nice. Thanks for letting us know this exists.
Originally, the Undead Thread (aka/Flying Castle) started out as a ZOT! thread way back in June of 2004, in one form or another. The first one, we ran up to the End of the Internet with 65,000+ posts, but in recent years, we try to keep the cap at 4000+ and then move on.
The Zelensky thread was our first truly ZOT! thread in quite a few years, and it was ZOTted three times before it got to 50 posts. Delta21 is the FReeper who alerted us to that one!
I can add your name to my ping list if you’d like. It’s very low volume, but at least you could be part of every move. Who knows? We may find another ZOT! thread!
Also, Nicknamedbob still has a list of the older previous threads... The ones that gave us the name “Flying Castle.” But some of those are very long reads!
My breath was taken away when I read HK’s account, and couldn’t even find the words to articulate what I was thinking. Even now, it’s more of a whispered, “WOW!” than anything else.
I would love to see something like that!
“Also cat pictures.”
That’s the reason I checked the Zelensky thread often. 😺
Hey, Everyone!
MayflowerMadam just joined our ranks! Please give her a warm welcome!
MM, welcome to the Undead Thread! There aren’t many of us, but we are the best of the Best, so help yourself to the cookies and hot chocolate, put your feet up by the fire and jump into any conversation you want.
‘Face
;o]
Thanks! Love the cookies.
If you’d like to be on the Morning Kitteh ping list, I can add you. It’s one cat picture per day.
Back from the laundry. One washer is down, so rather than stay there for an extra 40 minutes, I opted to wait until next week to finish up the wash. There wasn’t enough left to warrant the deep machine.
I’ll try to take a nap, and then I’ll get up and hang what I’ve washed.
Good morning. Happy Monday.
We had a decent Saturday but a very wet Sunday.
Saturday I took F-I-L to his barber. He immediately told his barber he couldn’t drive any more. The barber, and 80-year-old, had a brace on his neck. He told F-I-L he couldn’t drive either and told F-I-L he was better off. I asked him to encourage that narrative, which he did.
Apparently the barber blacked out in his bathroom and woke up on the floor with a fractured neck. He was hoping to get x-rays this week to find out he could take the brace off.
Saturday evening I got a call from F-I-L to ask if I could help him with his heat. It seems he has forgotten how a thermostat works and keeps cranking the heat up, then turning the thing off when it gets too hot. Then it’s too cold and he can’t figure out why.
I told him it was set now and he didn’t need to touch it any more. Sunday, when we went over, he asked me to look at it again and he’d turned it off again. Mrs. ArGee taped that part shut and told him to stop touching the thermostat. We’ll see.
I’ll post the weekend’s golf scores later since this post is already long.
