Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

I would like to propose that we put off our next round until after the New Year; I am working this week, but not the two weeks following, and the busy-ness of the Holidays will likely mitigate consistent appearances at the links.

Now... Since it’s Winter, let’s shoot a round someplace warm.

The PGA Tour will be at PGA West Pete Dye Stadium Course at LaQuinta.

Let’s join them for 7300 yards of par 72 golf.

Hole-by-hole yardage and video are here:

Yeesh! I forgot to add a suggested start date:

I propose we hit the 1st tee on January 9th — a Tuesday when the kids go back to school.

Good morning. Happy Twosday!

The rain finally ended yesterday afternoon. The ponds will be a while receding. And, of course, it will be cooler today.

It’s hard to believe it’s almost Christmas. This place is all decorated, except for one family that likes to leave some of their halloween stuff up until February. I don’t get that, but it’s obviously intentional since they did it last year.

Still not able to get my Wordle score up.

Good Morning & Happy Trash Day!

Bit of a chilly start to the day around 40 degrees F, but should see a nice warm up with the afternoon sun...

Another practice hole today...

Dis my RAWR face!

Good morning. I hope you had a good night.

Since it was Monday night, I slept well, of course. Nothing like doing the laundry to wear me out!

There is nothing on the docket today except maybe mail a few Christmas cards. Not that I even want to, but I was reminded that it was a thing. So maybe I’ll do that as soon as I get dressed.

That entire is absolutely gorgeous. Joshua Tree National Monument is a beautiful place to hang out, too.

You picked a great course!

There is a great course here, in Hurricane, at Sand Hollow, and one in the lava beds at Entrada by Snow Canyon, but I don’t think either of them fit your criteria. Both are in the top ten of the state.

We have a week of gloomy weather, but no rain until Saturday and Sunday. Sunny on Christmas, then more gloom for the next 10 days. How much fun is winter? ;o])

I’d like it better if it snowed in all that gloom!

As the foreguesses stand now, we are supposed to be having some combination of showers and thunderstorms from late Thursday through early Monday... if they are accurate, Christmas Eve looks like a washout, but later Christmas day it may clear up a bit...

But they haven’t been very accurate with their rain predictions of late.... we will see...

We’re due for the El Niño effects sweeping into SoCal. Mostly, it will just give us periodic rainfall and cloudy skies with temps in the 40s during the days. Not quite winter but not monsoon, either.

Sunny and cold here. I got the van inspected then went to the bank, Goodwill, library, and now returned. The bros have gone to the movies.
