Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Thanks.
He’s beautiful and he’s welcome to be stand-offish for as long as he’s comfortable that way. I won’t force him. But I’ll make sure he has the best of whatever I can give his chocolate kitty body and try to ease the symptoms of FIV in whatever way I can. He’s got a forever home, here, so he doesn’t ever have to be feral or a shelter cat again!
That is what it is all about!
He's beautiful! The hair color difference makes his face look lop-sided! How sweet!
I hope you enjoy your heat! Cats can be very funny about their toys or other articles. Elen used to show Shannon bird videos on her phone.
They had a “TV room” at the sanctuary with a tablet in it, on the floor, playing bird videos. The door to the room was open so that when a cat got to “this is where I came in,” he could leave the room! When I walked past the doorway, there were about a half-dozen cats in various places around the room, watching “TV.” It was funny!
I’ve had cats who didn’t want to play with toys unless a human was involved, and others who had toys they loved to pieces. Literally!
Shannon would sit next to the phone, angrily chittering at the video birds. Jake, of course, is afraid of birds.
Mom fell yesterday after dinner, hit her head on the corner of the kitchen counter, lacerated 3 cm of her scalp.
Paramedics (fire and ambulance).
ER.
CAT scan, no broken bones, no brain bleeds.
Blood draws, A-OK.
Pacemaker interrogation, no cardiac issues. (took for freeking ever to get the report back from Boston Scientific. faxes repeatedly fail, finally got a verbal report) also A-OK
Two staples.
Home by midnight.
She got up at 7.
She’s back to normal.
We’re wrecks.
Happy Mother’s Day everyone...
And the same to your mother!
At least you’re all in one piece each!
Oy, nully.
What a sweet kitty!
Good morning. I hope you had a good night!
I’m gathering up last minute items and then I’ll be out the door. Unngh!
Not bad, thanks, and hope you are the same. Good luck with the wash!
The laundry is done, and I think I’ll go try to take a nap for an hour or so.
The only things pressing are hanging the clothes, making the bed and baking brownies, since my mouth has been wanting them all week long.
Some days, I have good intentions but my body doesn’t want to cooperate. Hopefully, today, it will all come together!
Glad the laundry was a success. I hope the nap and the brownies are, as well.
Good morning. Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day. It was quiet here. It’s tough having 2 children who don’t really engage with us but send a text on Mother’s and Father’s day. But M-I-L had a good day.
This will be a busy week for Mrs. ArGee. She has the next step in her implant process tomorrow, appointments for her father on Wednesday and Thursday, and the Princess gets groomed on Friday.
Me? I just have owrk.
I did finally get Friday’s Wordle in 3 at about 10pm. Saturday I got it in 3. Sunday in 4. and today in 5. Of course, guess 3 was a bit of a waste. But that’s how my mind is going these days.

It has come to our attention that rumors are spreading that HR does not want employees to be happy.
Please be aware that HR does not want employees at all. Employees are considered to be a necessary evil in order for the company to provide its services. HR will have achieved nirvana when all employees have been replaced by AI bots.
Until such time, please follow all employee directives and do not worry that we are thinking about you. We aren’t.
Sincerely,
Agt. Smith, HR Chief AI.
The nap? Not so much. A text came in and I was sleeping so soundly, I know I would have slept the full two hours, until the alarm went off. But. Not to be!
So I’m up and at ‘em!
I’ll tackle the clothes in a bit. Right now, I’m going to eat something, and listen to the rest of the talk I was listening to yesterday. Getting up at five just doesn’t cut it on Sundays!
