Great news on the foot! and it sounds like it was a nice trip overall!
Overcast but temperate and not raining; only a few scattered sprinkles around.
Today’s foray into the Wordlesphere had a Lawrence Welk “a-one, anna-two...” sort of feel to it, as I waltzed my way to a 4. My intuition just didn’t get the memo, I guess.

For all that the weather out that way can range from freezing to blazing, when it’s nice, it just feels good to be out there with all that picturesque, rugged terrain. You can walk right out into it and be a part of it rather than just whizz by on the Interstate.
Indeed so! One of the reasons to really love the place. At this juncture, after what I went through during my time “Out East,” I cant imagine being anywhere else than here!

I used to see a bunch of hot air balloons in flight when I drove through New Jersey. They stopped flying there. I don’t know why.

We see a lot of them, now, but Washington County has grown a lot in the last seven years.
The winds are iffy, here, so though I may have been tempted to try a ride in one 20 or 30 years ago, there is no way I’d do it now! Not here!
But I love to watch them fly....

Oh, she’s beautiful! Look at those eyes. I love how God color coordinates cats’ eyes with their fur.
Several times I’ve posted pictures of gray cats with matching gray eyes. It’s amazing.

F-I-L tried to start his lawnmower yesterday and couldn’t. So I went over and started it for him. I’m not sure why he wanted to start it yesterday since it rained steadily all day. But if he can remember to choke it when it’s been sitting a while, it works fine.
He did complain that his brain isn’t working well, so maybe some things will become easier in helping he and his wife. But I’m not counting on it.
My brain isn’t working well, at least for Wordle. But I didn’t want this to be the word so I tried others first.

When I made the bed Monday, after washing the linens, I forgot to put the blanket/throw back on. I did it yesterday, after I had folded the dainties and put them away, but I’m still trying to figure out how I could forget a blanket in this weather!
I finally had enough of the linen closet and its jumbled mess, as I went in to fold clothes. It took about 15 minutes to take everything out and put it back in orderly fashion, but it now looks neat and tidy when I pull back the curtain. Every once in a while, when I walk past, I’ll pull the curtain back just to see what a good job I did! LOL!

I think that our 4th words were different... I have a black square in the 5th position...
