Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

I'm very sorry to hear this, Face. I find it most annoying when I go to bed feeling like I'm doing well and wake up worse. I used to have trouble pulling my calf in a run, which takes a while to go away. There would be nights when I went to bed thinking, "I'm back to normal," and wake up to "Nope. Not yet."
Frustrating.
Actually, it’s in my garage, which means I have to clear snow from both of my cars instead of just one.
When his son was here and finally had to just take it away, he offered to buy it. Everything would have been so nice if F-I-L had just agreed.
If it makes you feel any better, one young-ish lady in the on-line Bible study I’m part of has been complaining that the cat she adopted wasn’t spayed, as had been asserted. She’s been putting up with yowling at 3am for weeks.
She says if the vet visit goes well today she might get the spaying done next week. She’s hoping the cat will become less vocal afterward.
Thanks!
I’m just a little stiff and sore, as you would be after a car accident, but I’ll be better tomorrow.
Gooshy fud breath has got to be worse than garlic breath. But me, I’ve always said I’ll only eat onions in self-defense!
Frustrating is the word. The month has been frustrating. Actually, the two months have been frustrating, what with the injury and then surgery and now this.
And my FACE! LOL! It looks like I have a pirate patch over my left eye orbit! Makes me laugh every time I look in the mirror!
I hope it works out for her. Sometimes cats go to howling at 3 a.m. anyway. Shannon used to shriek at small items on the floor. She had a collection of tiny stuffed animals - “Shannon’s pets” - but she would also yell at a sock or a hair tie or a piece of paper.
BTTT!!!
Oh, that is very good! I think that it is about 15 years for me as well... good stuff, keeps you healthy!
Ahhh, I didn’t realize that aspect of it... well, hopefully selling it now will save a lot of money and be pleasing to him.... π€π»

Sweet little floof!
Good morning. I hope you had a good night!
It’s going to be mostly cloudy today, then rainy most of next week. We got a real soaker, yesterday, for sure. Thunderstorms are the norm, so this constant gentle rain is something different.
El NiΓ±o at work, I guess. That’s OK. We need it and I have the moon!
Nothing going on today, and I’m glad. My eye hurts a little, but I’ll go clean my face in a bit, and it should help somewhat.
Chris said he could take my stitches out (as a nurse, he can do that) and that will save me a trip to the ER to have it done.
I still need to find affordable insurance for the Raisin, so maybe I can get that done today. The other insurance company was just way too high. My age is against me, now, even though the vehicle is older. But we’ll see!
Are you planning anything fun today? Or is it still raining?
Good morning, and not bad. It is sunny today and supposed to be in the 50s in the afternoon.
Kathleen and I are going to pick up food donations with the Scout troop, and in the afternoon, we’re going to a class about puberty which the Diocese offers for young girls. That reminds me that I need to remind a brother about doing the midday dog-walk. (Vlad will do it for a cut of the payment. He also gets a tip for going with Kathleen at night.)
I’m glad you’re doing better. Bummer about the insurance, though!
OK. Face: Cleaned up. Hair: Brushed. Stitches: Moistened with Polysporin. Clothing: On. Knee: Rebandaged. I’m good to go!
I just took another pain pill, so that should help with the rest of the morning. The eye socket still feels heavy, but I’m sure that’s from all the blood that has pooled. Hopefully, it will be absorbed in a few days. That’s when it will turn into that devilishly sickening shade of greenish-purple. ;o]
I’m anxious to get a release to drive. I could probably drive to church when the boot comes off my foot, but I’d really rather do it with full permission instead of on the sneak.
Those classes are essential, I think. They were a part of the school curriculum when I was in 5th grade, and I don’t know of anyone who didn’t learn something, even if they thought they knew everything.
I wish I had a bro to take my garbage out, but maybe that little walk will be just what the doctor ordered. I used to take it out on Mondays, on my way to the laundry room, because the dumpster was on my way. Not any more! It’s half-way to the entrance, from here!
I get to nap in the truck while the Scouts pick up food. We’re not from this part of town, so I’d just get lost.
Yeah. I get it. I’ll either have to dig out the Garmin or use the trusty paper map that I bought when I got here in 2018.
The town has grown a lot since then, because the ER is first, with a hospital in the works in the next two-to-five years. So we won’t have to go to St George except for the most sophisticated tests.
I’m anxious to get out to Walmart early one morning so I can see my friend who works there. She’s the gal who bought my freezer.
LOTS of reasons to drive!
That’s discouraging. I just tried to send a birthday text to my sister in ND and it seems her number is “invalid.” I probably won’t ever hear anything from anyone about her again. I’ll try all the numbers I know.
Now I have to figure out how to get these folks to respond to me.
GAH!!
